The mind runs to the past and future. If it stays in the present then it’s in the eternal timeless place which is beyond death. Death only exists for the conditioned ego identity. Once that is transcended then whether you die later or now whether the body dies later or the mind dies now it makes no difference, this is the goal of life not to be in a Heaven ly realm. Which is still in maya but to be identified w the real Krishna that is your divine nature . Then whether you are immersed in him or immersed in the divine unlimited pure awareness you have achieved the goal of this life

We don’t choose the religion we are born in, we don’t choose the country we are born in we don’t choose the parents we are born to, we don’t choose the financial situation we are born into we don’t choose our dander or race , we are conditioned from birth and think we have free will . This is the greatest illusion . We think we can choose to eat vanilla ice cream rather than chocolate but we didn’t choose to have the desire for ice cream to rise in the mind or the few choices we crave. The witness consciousness when establishe reveals that thought arise like bubbles arise from the lake .we stop attaching to them or thinking these thoughts are mine, or this decision is mine. Only when we are ego identified do we think have control.or power or free will.
