Cersei wasn't really being nasty to Sansa in this ep. She was being real with her. A lot of what she was saying was actually her way of giving Sansa advise based on her own experiences. She relates to Sansa in a lot ways.

In the books there is a lot more strategy and tactics involved on both sides, but particularly Stannis’ side. Stannis was pressing King’s Landing by both land and sea. He led the land attack, not the naval one. His in-law Imry Florent was the one leading the fleet. Stannis and Davos would later curse him for falling into the wildfire and chain trap, Davos in particular who noticed towers at the mouth of the river and thought they should have been more cautious and scouted out the area. Stannis did quite a lot tactically to turn the battle around and almost won, until the Lannisters and Tyrells arrived. I don’t remember the exact circumstances but part of that was because Robb did not pursue the Lannisters and they essentially were free to relieve King’s Landing. It was like a game of chess between Stannis and Tyrion, but Tyrion was outnumbered and was only delaying the inevitable. Those delays ended up saving them.

Igli bringing the philosophy of GoT deaths, nice! Tyrion solidified himself as an heroic leader with BoB. It’s GRRM’s way to change our perspective and make us want the Lannisters to win. Quotable Sandor Clegane reminded us of another way to see things. When he confirmed to Sansa, “No little bird, I won’t hurt you,” the tenderness of his words revealed his love for her. Great review and revisit to a memorable episode .❤

My two favorite female characters were always Cercei & Melisandre. They both are very multi layered characters. And probably the two of the most hated characters. (Definitely of the females) I wrote a lot of fan fic for both and other GoT characters. ❤

The likely knights that jaimie was talking with potential of beating him are barristan (even being old), the hound and the mountain. SPOILER He says he has never seen oberyn fight so he would not be and there is a northerner which I forgot his name which is also a legendary fighter (the one that rob stark’s werewolf ate his fingers)

I dont think its rightly said. But i think the hound feels some messure of need to protect sansa because of the loss of his own little sister. Presumidly because of his elder brother. Theres an honorable and very protective man somewhere in sandor that the hound persona and the cruel realities of life have strangled.

So the guy from the Kingsguard who tried to kill Tyrion did that because of Cersei. She hates Tyrion, and would kill him at any chance she could. She probably had the Kingsguard on standing orders to kill Tyrion at any chance they had. One of them saw the chance during the battle and barely missed giving Trion his huge scar on his face. Too bad he ended up with a spear through his head from Podrick like a bitch. ☠⚰🪦

Stannis is dumb in a way similar to Ned. Very capable, but unwilling to compromise politically. Stannis makes even less sense tho when you consider that in light of his relationship with Melisandre.

@@MrCzerillo her letting go of Jamie would do everyone a favour than him just being killed off by the karstarks who wanted him dead by dawn.
