You can tell when he is talking to Ray that he feels remorse for his past life and believes he deserves all the pain he's been put through. He just doesn't think he's suffered enough for his sins. He doesn't think he deserves any happiness and that comes back up later in the show. He doesn't like it when people call him a knight or sir because knights are suppose to be noble and he doesn't see himself like that. It's also why he hates his brother. Gregor is 100 times worse than him but is somehow a knight, so he doesn't think highly of knights as a whole.

The scene between Cercei and The Queen of Thorns was one of my favorite scenes. Something else that's really interesting is the casting of Diana Rigg as The Queen of Thorns. The first time Jon meets Ygritte in A Clash of Kings, she tells him the story of Bael the Bard and the Blue Winter Rose, which in a nutshell is the fairest flower that blooms in the garden of Winterfell. The very next chapter GRRM uses the exact same imagery to describe Sansa's flowering and Cersei warns her, "love is a poison, a sweet poison and it'll kill you all the same". "How did Arya carry her body back to Jaqen"- Maybe she left it in the dark room and informed Jaqen, who surely wouldn't have a problem making a body disappear? There's regular concerntroll and then there's "what size stool did Arya use to put the Waif's head on the wall" level of concerntroll. We don't have to see every literal thing. It's not an anime. We don't need to see Arya with a hyperbolic time chamber training montage. There is clearly an element of fantasy in the faceless men training. No different from Jaqen killing The Tickler, Amory Locke and other Lannisters beyond the scope of normal human ability.* If you didn't ask for an explanation to how he did those, then we shouldn't have such a problem with Arya's "supernatural" ability here.

@@handy864 Okay I'll give you that some people might act differently when stabbed whether it's due to adrenaline, willpower, sheer luck or divine intervention. However she would still be done for with the massive blood loss from punctured organs, sepsis from swimming through sewage water or getting stitched up by an actress with no access to antibiotics or the instruments and modern medical crew needed to repair delicate internal structures. Disbelief only goes so far even in a fantasy setting especially when you compare it to similar wounds in the earlier seasons suffered by characters like Talisa and Robert Baratheon.
@handy8642 жыл бұрын
@@Slaskhask 1. spoilers at this point no one says she gets stitched up, B. It's not guaranteed that vital organs were actually hit people have survived rebarb pipes passing through their brain, π. It's a fictional world in which she's enthralled to someone who drank poison themselves and caused her blindness. So aside from it being possible it's also like Deadpool told wolverine as he was cutting him to ribbons "it's not your regeneration keeping you alive it's your fan base" so good job arguing a moot point incorrectly because if you haven't noticed about epic stories, they do like to put more focus on the improbable actually occurring even if they don't involve the Lord of light and the many face God screwing around with the lives of mortals.

I felt EXACTLY the same way about the actress that played lady Mormont. She is a tornado and as fierce as Dany. I guarantee you she wouldn't back down in fear of her either. I'm not gonna lie. I enjoyed the other houses putting Sansa in her place. She, unlock Jon needs to humble herself because she needs those armies. She annoying me this episode...especially talking down to Jon like he doesn't know they need more men. But instead of complaining, she could have informed him of the possible help they could have in the vale. Jaqen has made sure Arya was trained to be tough af. He also told the waif to not let her suffer. She was taking delightful pleasure at making her suffer when she stabbed and twisted the knife. To me, the waif wasn't a "no one" because she had too much attached emotion that Jaqen favored Arya and saw her potential.

Spoiler alert below for anyone who haven't finished the show. Even in a fantasy setting that stabbing is on the ridiculous side and you can really see the difference between G.R.R.M's writing for say Robert Baratheon in season 1 where the wounds from the boar fester and ends up killing him and from the theatrics of D&D. Arya would be dead from that wound as she got stabbed deep into her torso and fell into dirty water. It doesn't matter that she gets help to sow it up in the next episode as she would need a 21st century trauma team to fix all the internal damage from the hole in her bowels. The writer's treated it like some mannequin got pierced through the outer plastic layer and you just fill in the whole with whatever to fix any and all damage.
