It was also war when Robb imprisoned Jaime and the Lannister boys. Same as when Arya and the others were imprisoned by the Lannisters and Tywin told the Bannermen to put the prisoners to work instead. She claimed to not be like Cersei whilst giving the exact same ultimatum that Cersei would have done, join or die - despite knowing that most of these men just follow their lord's commands. She gave the Dothraki choices, you can either join or walk your own path and this was a choice given to rapists and murderers - far worse men than those in this episode.

Tywin's death/funerals were a terrible way for such a feared and respected man to be remembered. The TRUE reality of his legacy was also damning: Joffrey dead, Tyrion an escaped fugitive and exile, Jaime maimed, Cersei the queen regent and House Lannister leaderless and on the brink of collapse.

C'mon, Dany doesn't care about who led the army that killed her ally in that moment. All she cared about was the "choice" given. Bend the knee or die.
