I love his facial expression because my face is the same way, I look naturally sad but I'm not I tend to think a lot. But when I speak and laugh my face changes and people who don't know me are pleasantly surprised. I remember walking to work and a man stopped me a bit and said I have sad eyes but it makes me look pretty and ever since I've had people tell me that my sad eyes makes me look pretty so I guess that what he has.

I know it is very creepy if R+L=J (which we know it does) but I ship Emilia and Kit so hard on the show -- the future King and Queen of Westeros!! They look absolutely gorgeous together so I will overlook the potentially extremely creepy part of Dany being Jon's aunt...hey the Targaryens did it, Cersei and Jamie...so it wouldn't be the weirdest hookup in Westeros.

Most are British, and there are others from around the British Isles. A lot are Irish too: Davos, Catelyn, Joffrey, and Littlefinger. Robb is Scottish (as you might be able to tell from his accent), and so is the Hound. Tyrion and Drogo are American, and Jaime is Danish. The rest I believe are all British, including the Stark children and all the rest of each House.

I have to say, Kit Harrington embodies Jon Snow for me, he is the one character who fits so closely with my own picture. But theres one thing about Jon that I miss from the books, and that is the fact that he flexes his hand when he thinks or is in a difficult place. The hand that he burnt by saving Lord Commander Mormont from the guy turned whitewalker. But that is probably more from a film making perspective than from a acting perspective.

no he doesn't. he's stated numerous times that he doesn't know who jon's parents are. the only two people who george told are david and dan. actually, that was the basis on which he agreed to give them the rights to make the show - when they approached them, he asked them who jon's parents were as a test to how intuned to the series they were. when they answered correctly he gave his ok for the show. kit's asked them all numerous times, but says they still won't tell him.

They keep saying the fans are "hard" on the actors for the characters they portray... I think having a show like this really gives your imagination a baseline for what the characters look like when you continue on in the series, and also makes it seem to come alive all the more in your imagination.

one thing that i really don't want to happen with jon though is M's interferrance. if an 'event' is needed, i'd rather it be connected to V, but ideally i'd like it not to be needed at all. it works cleaner and makes more sense if it's not. I think it might stop him being entirely human. There's a certain J from another mythology that seems to have a lot in common with Jon and his destiny. And I'm sure that mythology clearly specifies that it's J is a demigod.

Yep. And it was made clear that Jesus was the son of god, as for the trinity, that was a bit more blurry. What happens when a god interbreeds with a human being? You get demigods. Like Hercules for example, or Jesus. Now, I'm not saying that Jon's father - which I think we agree on who that must be - is a god as such, but perhaps an earthly avatar of one, based on what we know about Summerhall.

The books mention it as an accepted theory. The book has 2 or 3 different mothers who people believe it could be, each with some legitimate evidence. But there is never an absolute.

There are rumors that he was with Lord Beric's men, what actually happened was that he died by the river, he was buried by brothers of the seven pointed star (who found his horse), and then his helmet was stolen off of his burial site giving rise to the rumors that he was still alive.
