I really love how everyone that watches gane of thrones has to scramble to learn the characters and who they connect with, when the people who read the books had an updated conprehensive list of all the houses and their people at the end of every book 😂 made life so much easier

For those who are new to this channels series (like myself) and also want a cloak like the one the night watch wears, all the cloaks in the show were humanely sourced fake fur and actually made from modified ikea rugs, so if you want one i suggest learning a small bit of furworking and leather strappings if you want to mod one into a cloak as seen in the show!

I’m not 100% sure because it’s been so long since I read the book, but as I recall it Catelyn wasn’t allowing Bran’s wolf in the room for whatever reason. After the assassination attempt Catelyn changed her mind and was like, ya, let the wolf come and go as it pleases 😂

If you've read the books, Lady Stoneheart shows Catelyn may know a lot more about combat in general at any given point than we may realize (Catelyn survives the red wedding in the books and becomes a warrior seeking her remaining lost children, iirc)

@Keedeeg I love the lady stoneheart arc, I wish they had done it for the TV show but it did rely on other plotlines as well so maybe they just didn't want things to be too convoluted, either way her being a talented fighter may have attributed to her avoiding getting her hand cleaved in two, as it's possible to catch a blade in a manner that doesn't cut you even one handed, though it takes time to learn so I probably couldn't replicate it

This was delightful! Ned's death was basically the moment I fell in love with this series lol. It's when I realized GRRM was more concerned with doing what was best for the story than giving us a traditional hero vs villain narrative. One thing I love about s1 GOT reactions is seeing how much people hate Jaime & are annoyed with Sansa because they are 2 of my favorite characters. Both characters have such great arcs throughout the (book) series.
