Michelle Fairley, Lena Headey, Charles Dance, Nikolai whatever his two last names are (Jaime), Pedro Pascal, Sean Bean, probably a bunch of others I can’t remember right now. These were some of the best actors on that show. I think Michelle Fairley doesn’t get enough praise for her amazing performance. @ZeferdensAccount2 жыл бұрын
Omg, I thought I was the only one that noticed!!! As soon as the piano played, I was so confused. Unfortunately, it threw me off for the rest of the scene. I kept thinking throughout, “We’re finishing six seasons of this show and NOW a piano is playing?!” Usually, the music seemed “historicalIy accurate” for a fantasy show and the piano is relatively a modern instrument. It seems like unfortunate foreshadowing as the writers forgot the core elements of the story, so did the music.
@Umbra162 жыл бұрын
I pirated the episode when it came out and when the piano started playing I thought someone had put their own music over the episode and I was irritated at it until I realized it was actually part of the soundtrack.

6x10 is the GOAT for TV episodes. It cannot be topped. It cant even be close. It had everything. Cersi blowing up the Sept, Tommen becoming an hero, Arya kills Walder, Pycelle gets shanked, Sam gets into the library, one of the best bits of acting in the show when Davos confronts Mel about Shareen, Tyrion becoming hand of the Queen, R+L=J, Dorne joining up with Dany, Cersi becoming queen, Jamie getting back to Kings landing, and THE KING IN THE NORTH! Each of those things could be the end of an episode, but we got them all in one sitting.

Austin Myles Sure . The Tyrells were a bunch of opportunistic power-hungry maniacs though , not gonna mourn them . Olenna plotted Joffrey's murder alongside Littlefinger and Tyrion's escape too if i remember correctly , so by extension she's party responsible for Tywin's death as well , which i'm sure she found a very fortunate accident since he was the only one that could've outsmarted her . So yeah , i wouldn't really call the Tyrells good guys either :P

This soundtrack was honestly the best thing to come out of this episode! It's so fucking amazing, yet so unlike Game of Thrones. Have they ever used piano before?
@spiceweasel89728 жыл бұрын
I don't believe so - I may be remembering history wrong, but the Piano came well, well after the medieval era (maybe it was made during the Renaissance?) In either case - in modern media, a sombre piano tends to overlook a hopeless, apathetic scene in a movie (Where we are reminded just how fragile human life is.) It's not necessarily meant for action scenes, but for scenes that are meant to take the audience's breath away. Out of all the evils we have seen in this show, out of all of the amazing things that have happened, this is one of the most cataclysmic thing we've seen in Westeros, and the body count is probably the highest it's ever been in a single episode, at least in named characters.
@callmewitcher50698 жыл бұрын
correct, the piano came much later after the clavichord, harpsichord. called piano, because it could player soften notes. which is why pianissimo, means play softly :D
