Not true. You don't need to play in 2 players. You need to collect 7 diamonds in every stage in each world. There is secret easter if you managed to collect the diamond in right order (from left to right)

@@dalaxdercrisper957 that's on Rainbow Islands tho, they're talking about Bubble Bobble NES, where you need 2 players, the Crystal Ball item on stage 99 and to play the extra stages it leads you to after you grab it to get the good ending.
