I dunno why but I thought Gohan;s tail came back already so I fully expected Gohan to turn ape and beat up Vegeta lol. I mention this loads of tims until Gohans tail actually des come back and then I feel rather silly haha. I'm going to pin this comment for all those who keep spamming the same comment about Gohan not beng able to transform. I already know haha!

I admit, crazy and even silly as it would've been one could say. A moment thought when they looked into Baba ball. A moment of thought of, they dare while Vegeta had his back to him/didn't realize he was there that they have Yajirobe a one-shot quick sneak attack and try to cut off Vegeta's tail. Yeh I don't know or remember if that would do anything or like the tails need to be pulled out totally. Yeh even though Yajirobe not an actual Saiyan, still he is pretty handy and strong/skilled with that sword if recall right

No Yajorobi isn't a saiyan. The ball was showing Goku's situation since he's the one without a tail or possibly a dubbing error 😅 Also you already saw him use the spirit bomb on a brick on King Kai's planet a few episodes back. Small blasts like the one to Vegeta's eye are just called "ki blasts". Not every beam is a Kamehameha lol

Yajirobe is no saiyan, it is wrongly dubbed. Gohan cant transform without his tail, otherwise goku would have turned too. They need a tail. Spirit bomb is different from Yamcha's, goku gets energy from every living thing. They are wrongly named similar but are totally different. He used this technique before leaving to destroy a block at king kai's when he was testing his new skills.

The Spirit Bomb is a high risk, high reward culmination of life energy. The more you gather, the stronger the attack, but the longer you're vulnerable since it requires you to be completely calm and still to use. That's why it should only be used as a last resort.
