Once in Countdown at the part after Kiko makes you fall off the bridge to the rocket I just ran right underneath the rocket that was about to take off to see what getting a point blank range of jet fuel to the face was like. I loved how it just simply showed the bloody screen afterwards because I'm pretty sure there'd be nothing left of you after something like that 😂

Smaller details like the death animation and music is one of the many reasons, why I think games were much better back then - Made with a labour of love with soul and fresh and unique ideas. The "death music" is somehow the same but different in each mission, to somehow fit the soundtrack of each mission. It's a small detail, but it is one of the many features that made Nightfire even more unique.

You can't see it in this video, but the helicopter's missiles and bullets also destroy that hallway, but it's faster if you shoot it yourself. and when that hallway is damaged, it falls down another hallway on the floor below and explodes. I never knew if it was a way to stagnate oneself in the mission or if it was a bug.
