Caitlin Clark is the most interesting player to watch. Her playing with AB is without equal. Not only will the Fever make the playoff, but they will go further into the playoff. If I were the opposing team, I would not want to play the Fever, as they will even be better by the year's end.

Coach Sides loves slowing it down so the opposing team can get set up on defense!!! That style of play takes the rhythm and flow out of the Fever! They won this one but not before CC sped things up and scored 10 points in the forth quarter! This style of play will not work against taller stronger teams! Only scoring 81 points rarely wins you a ball game! Nods to Kelsey for having more assists than usual and some great hustle plays! It was a balanced attack with everyone contributing to the win! Hopefully the next game will have more fire and up tempo offense for the Fever!!! One of these days CC will start drilling threes and not stop till Sides pulls her from the game!!! LOL

Lifelong Hawkeye & Fever Fan here from Minnesota. Great Game! This game for me, ranked among the top I’ve enjoyed all year in the league. If not the best game I enjoyed to date. I loved seeing the energy & Fire from the players, and I was most happy that coach did not once again, do some ridiculous counterproductive thing when they were on that run. -Coach Sides has a had a habit of doing ridiculous counterproductive things When the fever have had chances to Win or was winning and honestly, some of those things have led to losses for the Fever during very close games that they could have Won if Coach Sides had not made those change. And in this Game for whatever reason good bad or indifferent Coach Sides allowed the players to play with the Energy & Fire That they themselves used as motivation to Step up. This Fever team could really go somewhere in a great place, if they had a good solid coach, or if they are allowed to play the type of Basketball that they are easily capable of playing Without any bad coaching whatsoever. Personally, I think Christie Sides is not a bad person, she seems very enthusiastic & driven and has had some good things to say, but her lack of basketball knowledge, lack of real extensive coaching experience, and her very bad decisions that she has made during games the Fever couldve Won but sadly lost, has left me with a bitter taste, that I cannot possibly support her in her Coaching efforts.

Well said, although it seems Sides is slightly getting better which is encouraging. Not sure how true but I heard that Christy sat down with some coaches from the Warriors a couple weeks ago to implement some better plays/adjustments. I hope they can find the winning recipe & consistency because we have all seen glimpses of what this team is capable of! The craziest thing is the amount of support even at away games is unbelievable, I’m so grateful to be apart of such a moment in history! Go Fever! 🔥👍

I admit i only stsrted tuning into to the WNBA (mostly yt highlights) because of CC. But im enjoying watching the growth and confidence of the other players. As as well as some of the other teams like the sky and spark. But CC simply cannot be denied. She is a once in a lifetime athlete. The 3's, the ball handling, the assists, the IQ, and most impressive to me, the way in which she brings the absolute best out of her teammates, seems like everyone of the fever squad have hit a new level of skill and confidence and they are all so much fun to watch. The Dunn/Sides scheme in the first 3Q bored me because they turned the filly CC into a half court role player which insulted me. Then the 4th changed to a run and gun. Why? Did Dunn/Sides up tempo on purpose to correct that glaring error of slowing down the game? Or did CC simply take over on her own? And, you know what? I don’t want to hear the trailer trash Sides cliche banality, “We gotta figure it out” that she says nearly every game. If she had not figure herself out in 1.5 years, she will not figure herself out at all. Sides is not a real coach, she’s a “Let me see what the instruction manual says” character who can’t teach and can’t coach. We watch to be entertained, not to see which woman can sulk and hulk around like a man. Let’s review: CC is not a role player; She has been and still is a point guard, the best on the Fever and in the whole W so use her electrifying talents. No-one is interested in the half court game. Don’t tamp her excellence and reliability down into a boring, dour entity. Provide fun.

@@shf4592 Chicago lost twice to NY last week, not to Washington, and we are the only team to beat NY in New York, and we had a higher attendance in NY city then when Indiana played in NY. In Friday nights game against Phoenix, Caitlyn went stat padding with under 20 seconds left in the game, she was trying to break Indiana's team assist record. She tried it twice and was mad at her team for missing the last two shots in that game. She wanted to get the assist record, she was really pissed at her teammates at the end of the game. They were winning the game but Caitlyn kept trying to break the record.

@Indiana Fever Maybe the coach should let Caitlin run the show for the whole game, not just the 4th quarter??? We saw with Phoenix that through 3 quarters playing Caitlin Clark Basketball, we were up by 30+. Then in the 4th quarter the Coach put Erica Wheeler in and went away from Caitlin Clark, and we almost lost an entire 30 point lead. Then in this game the Coach goes away from Caitlin Clark for 3 quarters, and then when the game is on the line she let's Caitlin Clark Cook. It doesn't take a genius to see what works and what doesn't. Caitlin Clark is a point guard, not a shooting guard.

I think Sides is a bully and wants to force the team to play the style she prefers that allows her to dictate more plays. I still can’t believe that she stopped Clark in the first quarter of the game vs Phoenix, after Clark had seven points and seven assists, and forced her to run a play that ended up turning the ball over. The next play, Clark ran the screen she wanted and they scored. Sides doesn’t know how to use these players to the best of their abilities and doesn’t want to let the free flowing offense cook, but the free flowing offense is going to get them a 120 pt game if allowed. They better get 100 pts vs the Wings.
