Not really, the difference with this and Jarry is the fact that he gave up his goals in the first period. In this game, the only reason we weren't down by 2 goals or more by the start of the second was because of Ned. The defense is the issue here.

Defense is weak AF. No physical play at all in our own zone. Not just one or two defenseman. The entire defense looks slow, soft and clueless at times. Unless things change, it will be a looong season.😕

You mean unless the Pens get a real goalie, it's going to be a loooong season. Matt Murray gets the Pens two Stanley Cups and the Pens trade him. Haven't been a threat to any team in the NHL playoffs since, if they even make the playoffs.

We’re not built to contend. We have a line up full of 30+ players trying to keep up with kids and its not gonna happen. I love the Pens, we had our run. Im glad they kept everyone so they could retire Pens, but its gonna cost us on the scoreboard
