Very close match. Way to wrap up the dad's trip with an overtime thriller. Sure Dan Petry must be proud of Jeff after his two goals and Scott Zucker the same. Drew O'Connor's goal along with every goal in this game was breathtaking. I already like Mikael Granlund on our third line, he seems to be really bringing something out of Carter and Heinen. Let's trample the Panthers from their road to the playoffs Saturday.

WHAT...A...GAME!! Great pace to start...but it looked early like Vasilevskiy was on his game and the Pens would struggle to get pucks in the net. Pens never seemed shaken and kept the pressure on. Very entertaining game. Jarry looked a bit stiff at times but in flashes sharp with the glove. Pens wanted this one and it showed. Fantastic effort. Go Pens Go!!

DOC's goal was alah Jordan Staal from game 4 of the Stanley Cup finals in 2009. That was the exact same notion when Staal scored on Brian Rafalski way back. He def needs more playing time for the Pens.

Good to see the team win, especially getting goals from the unusual suspects. Definitely needed to get into and through the playoffs. Poor Tanger, though. He's highly offended the hockey gods this year, or broke a mirror, spilled salt...something. His luck has been horrible, but good to see him fight through and come back.

Where is all the hate for the sub par goaltending? Jarry kept them in this game time & time again, the only reason this game was even close was penalties, this team refuses to stay disciplined, good to see 35 getting back into form

@@michaelbecker2435 DeSmith isn’t a first stringer, and had a lot on his plate while Jarry was out. But he held his own as well, it was the defense that was lacking. Whatever they did to get on the right streak seems to be working, but there’s still more room to improve.

Yea bluegers dad was there. Brian Burke called them both into the room and gave them the news together at the same time. Interesting situation. Kinda odd to have the dads trip so close to the trade deadline lol.
