@@markwajdeman7118 I LOVE both of those records and have listened to each of them about a million times! 'Up From The Ashes' is one of my favorite records of all-time, and I feel that it never got the recognition it really deserved. A really great line-up with John Norum, Mikkey Dee, and Peter Baltes. Also, an honorable mention to the legendary Glenn Hughes who wrote and recorded a lot of earlier demos with Don. Such a great record. 'Wicked Sensation' - another fantastic record. It was so interesting to see the more blues approach George took to that record, and I really feel that he's kept that edge with him in so many of his projects as the years have progressed (especially with Dirty Shirley). As much as I will always want Don and George playing together, they gave us two beyond amazing records and I could go on about them forever, haha! Thanks for the comment, Mark!

Hey Rich, you guys should do a Top 10 Hard Rock Albums of the 90s show & show that 90s isn't just about Grunge 😉 Some very good albums were released in that decade (Winger - Pull etc) You'll also be able to show that fake, revisionist narrative( Lumping all 80s Hard Rock Bands together, ridiculing it as 'hair metal' and claiming it all died when Nirvana hit the charts) is wrong.

As far as Candlemass goes my favorite album of theirs didn't come until much later with "King of the Grey Islands" in 2007 when they had Robert Lowe from Solitude Aeturnus on vocals. While I enjoy Candlemass and love Pentagram I prefer Saint Vitus over those two, specially the Wino era (1986-'91, 2003, & 2008-2015). Thankfully I've seen Wino perform a handful of times, once in The Obsessed, once with Saint Vitus, and twice in Spirit Caravan :)
