Happy Official 600 Anniversary, Omega Cops! I have personally been with you for 10 years and can safely say you’re my favorite podcast of all time. Here’s hoping for another 600 and no I’m not kidding. You couldn’t find a better group of 4 people to spend an hour each week with and we’re all so grateful for all you do. I still miss the studio with the couch and the wonderful Jared Petty. But again, Happy 600!

They DID mention Chiller, but no mention of Haunting Starring Polterguy, which was a bummer considering it's such a rad horror themed game. Overall, a pretty solid Halloween episode...

Congrats on episode 600. Great way to bring it in. Just wanted to comment on one of the always forgotten spooky games that most people forget about. It’s Clock Tower from PS1. I only played the first game, but it definitely had a lot of scares as you had to hide and run away from Scissorman. I remember when he jumped out of a wall painting or followed me into a room where I thought I was hidden and he would use the giant scissors to stab me while I was hiding in the box. Definitely a great horror point and click game on PS1.

Thank you for getting into the spirit of Halloween and for dressing up. Please do this every year! Love horror films, but not keen on horror games. But really enjoyed the one with the camera mechanic on PS2, Fatal Frame maybe? And Siren Blood Curse on PS3, although i got stuck on that one :P

Resident evil 1. Start of the game and you try and leave the mansion. Those dogs scared the heck outta me as a kid. Re1 was the OG jump scare game. Happy Halloween Omega cops!

Nicely job on making 600 eps of Game Scoop! I'd like the Quake series to make a comeback (or just re-releases Quakes 1-4), both Wolfenstein & DOOM made comebacks this gen - Quake should follow suit. Also a new Duke Nukem would be nice - hell I'd replay Duke Nukem Forever

I am sure someone has said this, but Dead Space 2 needle to the eye part was one part that got the heart pumping when I realized I had to control the needle. It wasn't terribly difficult but thinking it would be a quick time event then accidentally just killing my character got to me for a few more attempts afterwards.

I think the best horror name in recent memory that most of us did not see coming was dead space. Other than that we’ve had some pretty good ones one that most of us don’t think about anymore is until dawn.

An entire Game Spook episode and not one mention of the Silent Hill series :( needless to say, I'm disappointed. There was even a great chance to use it when one of the listeners asked about games that skipped a generation and my head immediately screamed "Silent Hill!" - it was so perfect for the question - it's a horror game so it fits the theme AND it skipped this generation in a very peculiar way, where people had P.T. installed on their PS4's, found out that P.T. is a Playable Trailer for a Silent Hills game starring Norman Reedus, everyone got excited, then there was disagreement in development and suddenly we lost SUCH a great game (if the game would have been anything like P.T.). But I guess I was hoping too much.

I loved 7th Guest! Music was great! It's assets were revolutionary by doing something similar to Donkey Kong Country but, for the environments. It did get overshadowed when Myst came out. Likely because, Myst was a critically better game. But, I still loved 7th Guest, anyway. The acting was part of its' charm. "My, isn't this a cheery place!," the first lady to enter says with obvious sarcasm. A few more people enter, each dishing out their own cheesy lines. One of the last 'guests' to enter, a snooty rich guy adds, "And Lord, it smells awful, too!" The way he delivers that line is a wonderfully cheesy stereotype voice of a snooty uptight rich guy. That voice that is fake British stuffy sophistication. I'm not describing it very good. But, it's the best the I got.

BAD MOJO. Wow I played that on my dad's computer when I was way too young (maybe 7) and haven't thought of it or heard of it since. Creeped me out like no other. Didn't know the name and didn't know what Swaim was talking about until he mentioned that you play as a cockroach. Thanks for bringing it up.

Every Silent Hill game was one that I couldnt play in the dark alone. Scariest game I've ever played and I've played them all. Always needed a buddy around. Fatal Frame was also pretty scary. But my favorite "Halloweenie" game is probably Zombie Ate My Neighbors for the snes

Guys help! Im stuck with this for a few days now. Played a game back in the day, that was like the first game that scared me. Might be SNES or NES. Its top down, and you play as a bunch of kids. Lots of monsters in there, zombies werewolves all the classics. But what scared me the most as a kid, was the music. It was very creepy, and instilled some sort of fear in me. But for the life of me.. i cant remember what game this was 😂

Sam... next year you can re-use that wig and mustache to be Sam Elliot! Only the most Baddass bouncer (cooler) ever from Roadhouse and Ghostrider :-) All you'll need is a cowboy had and some boots which can be used the rest of the year. A little more on topic... some horror was just funny like the living dead while some PG stuff weirded me out like They Live. Something about those Aliens just freaked me out thinking they could be all around us.
