Replace batteries, The usb receiver maybe is too far from the controller. Make sure nothing blocking it. And lastly, go to the settings and find the "unlock with code" button. Hit enter, then punch in B,B,B,A,B - That will unlock a secret screen that has even more controller,video and audio settings so you can set it exactly the way you want. Thank me later. Enjoy. It has a ton of settings, so be careful.

I encountered a similar problem related to the line of sight between the controller and the stick. To resolve it, I positioned the stick within the controller's line of sight, ensuring constant connectivity. Hang the GameStick visibly to ensure it remains within your visiblity
