Matpat just gave me an idea when speaking about the monster’s “nodes” on its head. In the beginning, eyes are scratched out on the poster of the children. The background has things with eyes on them. When Amanda starts to get possessed, her eyes either hollow out or flip inside out. The nodes on the monster’s head could be the collected eyes of its victims, representing the souls imprisoned in the tapes.

I was under the impression that there is more than one Woolie in the new update. Coming back to this now that MatPat has made his new theory video, I think that the picture of the "brother and sister" in the corner is actually Sam and Rebecca. I love how this theory plays out. It seems to fit right and there set much more to say, except... I feel as though "Grandma" (mentioned in tapes 1 and 2) has some sort of importance? I mean, I'm most likely wrong, but the fact that there seems to be some sort of character familiarity in there feels odd. Amanda uses Grandma as an excuse to bring about the death of Woolie but the fact that Woolie has some evidence about the supposed Grandma to retaliate with just feels weird to me.
