As soon as I watched the first episode it felt so more “natural” than many other BL series from Thailand and Taiwan. I think it is because the 2 actors already know each other and have a “real” friendship before the first episode. It made their chemistry feel real and not contrived. Love the show! They may have known each other for sometime but I think the 'chemistry' and comfortability with each other really comes from good natural acting. In fact, it's so good and natural you wouldn't think they're acting. They've totally put themselves 'in character'.

My take on the first episode: The chemistry is unmistakable. The acting is natural. The production values are good. The pacing is just right no lag moments. I just hope that the slants focus on what is our realities. All in all it's a good start. A lot better than the other one. Kudos to the production team! Can't wait to see episode 2!

I watched Fuccbois and Kokoy so deserved Game Boys more than Fuccbois. In Fuccbois, I saw him as meat; in Game Boys, I see him as talent, oozing talent! I realized then he didn't really have to shed clothes. Not that I regret seeing him undressed, but in Game Boys, Kokoy's naked talent is there for all to see.

Well, Gameboys actually is the first BL series. There is a different between LGBTQ themed series, like My Husbands Lover, Hanging Out, Batang Poz and BL as a genre. :) What the Pinoy filmmakers are doing is blurring the lines between the two to make both better and to impart more relevant issues. But in the context of BL as a genre, Gameboys is the first one. Just like Hello Stranger is the second, the ones released between them is LGBTQIA+ media. Just as relevant but of a different kind. :)

Saw Elijah last night in the short Contestant#4 and clips of Kalel, 15. (Thank you to PsychoMilk website.) Googling Elijah revealed to me he is already prolific at a young age. I can see now why he got casted in Gameboys. He has talent, passion and intelligence. I delight in his high proficiency in spoken English. So natural and pleasant to the ears.

Elijah has command over English and has good voice. While Kokoy is great at expressions, he is also very fast talker and really good at those short snippets usually uploaded on video platforms such as Insta and Toktok etc. He nails those vids really hard. Besides he has killer smile.

Most of the upcoming Pinoy BL series, all actors were encouraged watched 2gether The Series. I love the series too but there are more recommendable series than that. IMHO.

That's because of the COVID quarantine restrictions, people and producers noticed that there is a Filipino BL Community and theyre not beginning to tap into that audience. That's basically why there are a lot in various stages of production right now. They will eventually discover the other series, it was just timely for 2gether to have been on-air when people in the Phils began having a more welcoming outlook to producing the genre in the country :)

It's a fantasy more directed towards women who fangirl over the actors. Eventually, lines will be blurred but for entirely BL content, it's not really about LGBTQ+, it's more a fantasy world where gender is not even a question. :)

Having watched to date all the five episodes of GAMEBOYS, I have no doubt that Kokoy and Elijah register a strong chemistry. Their delivery of lines is so convincing which reminds the social conformist that love has no gender.The audience don't feel that they're watching online a canned film series, rather they are viewing it real-time. This is shaping up to be quite an interesting series, as much as for it's unique moment in human history and associated challenges as for its more traditional story aspects.
