I noticed he already completed Donut Plains 1, so you can speed the process up after getting the feather by pressing start/select to back out to the overworld map. You'll keep any power ups and no need to go through an entire level over again :)

Not on the SNES version, you can only do that on the Gameboy advance

For the 4th u can just use Yoshi and jump off him to get behind the goal. That is my strat

@@bobbiestaats679 its not hard. beat it the normal way or the yoshi wings way, then do the level again and make sure to break thru the checkpoint tape. if you lost yoshi, start-select to leave the level, and go grab a yoshi and 2 feathers, then fly up and float as long as you can, then just bounce of the saws

I always thought that if you got all the moons, you should have gotten a secret ending or something. Maybe a path leading from one of the levels in Star World to the moon in the background? I was so disappointed when I found out there was nothing.

4.0.0 update for SMM2. Edit: When playing as Toadette, 1-UP Mushrooms are transformed into 3-UP Moons. Correct me if I'm wrong. Also I hope that actually happens in 4.0.0

To this day I thought a single moon existed. Never knew about the others. I am also convinced this is an asset left behing and repurposed to "give three lives". My guess is it was supposed to do something more similar to the power star, but they couldn't figure out something good or it didn't work in the playtests. Another evidence to that is that in Odyssey you collect moons, analogous to how in SM64 you collect stars. Their design is also very similar in Super Mario World

I laughed when this guy did all of these with a cape, [1] DIDN'T need a cape, you could get a Yoshi in Yoshi's Island 2, then go back to Yoshi's Island 1 and get to where the one up would be, then jump off the Banzai Bill on Yoshi, run to the left on the clouds and jump on the last 1 or 2 cloud(s), at the peak of the run-jump, jump off Yoshi, you'll get the 3-up moon and if you want Yoshi back, just jump down from the clouds and get him. [4] was easy, because the first time I did it I jumped off YOSHI under the goal, but now I throw Yoshi past the goal, then then gain speed on the giant mushrooms by the goal and spin-fly under the goal, then get Yoshi and get the secret exit. Number [5] you could have saved allot of time by flying OVER the giant wall at 7:27.

the only one i didnt knew was the first one, and about the 4th one, its not THAT hard, you would just need a yoshi to make it easy, and getting to the end of the stage with a yoshi is even easier

Me, because I suck at the game (without a blue Yoshi and the Top Secret Area). I've only been able to play it on emulator, though.

Victor A. ItS easy... all I do is go to a board that I already beat, such as forest of illusion for example. I'll always start at the halfway mark and get the star in the box... and run thru the all the enemies until I keep getting 1-ups... and once the star ends just start the board over and keep doing that over and over again until you get 99 lives. It takes about 4-5 times to do it. That's the easiest and fast place to do it

Victor A. Oh yeah. And the catapiller is 2-up. Just start at the halfway mark of forest of illusion. Never finish the whole level .... just get the star and run really fast thru all the enemies until the star ends. Then start and select and do it all over again. That's what I do every time. Then I go to a ghost house and beat it so I can save the game. So I always start with 99 lives lol

That's cute. I beat it in one night. 100% with all Dragon Coins. Damn it pisses me off when i take the time to get all the dragon coins and then choco secret 1 only has 1 coin.
