I started working on this album a year ago and so much has happened and changed since then. After a few months of taking a break from music I'm glad I got back to it and finally finished the album, but holy shit the production on this one was so much more challenging. I wanted it to be perfect so I revisited each track a hundred times until I was satisfied, which I definitely am now. It's not easy to live up to the original and this album is a bit different, but I purposely chose this direction. The first one was more jazzy and urban and I didn't want to create the exact same thing again. This one is more "magical" and close to nature. Hope you enjoy it, the release day was absolutely crazy and turned out to be one of the most important days of my life. Thank you to each and every one of you out there for the constant support❤️

Zelda’s Lullaby: Traditional Zelda song; Very good and simple remix, I love the percussion as always. A strong start! The Great Sea: This one is so atmospheric and chord based!! Amazing! I love this one, I will listen to it for a long time. Korok Forest: The weakest one so far. It’s good, but I think this song was already so fantastic that you should’ve taken it in a different direction. Kass’ Theme: You’ve really brought out some the less pleasant notes in this song, It’s beautiful! You’ve upped the soul wrenching quality to 11 here, another of my favorites. Serenade of Water: This one sounds A LOT like Z+C 1, which is a good thing! So clean, so beautiful, you brought out all of the best parts of this track. Hyrule Castle: Woah. It sounds so… Funky! It’s deliciously groovy, I’m coming back to this one. Song of Healing: You’ve turned a melancholy melody in a depressingly beautiful doomed world into a catchy song without losing the beauty and sorrow of the original. Revali’s Theme: I can see why you chose this of all the Champion’s Themes! My personal favorite is Mipha’s, but this song (and your incredible remix) has a light and graceful sound to it. I’m running out of good adjectives, but this track is radiant! Outset Island: Perhaps I’ve just heard this song a lot lately, but I didn’t like this remix as much? The song doesn’t have much going on. It’s a little boring (at least to me). It still makes my brain happy, and I liked the ending bit, without the bass, a lot. Spirit Tracks: I played the heck out of this game! I think it has great music! But the instruments in the DS version aren’t strong. The ones you used were :) The teleport sample was clean and clever, the percussion was apt, and the second half where the melody fades in and out was superb!

This is such a good album and I know there was probably a lot of pressure on Mikel and GameChops for producing, making art, and getting this album out to the public, but I just wanted to say that this is on the same level or even higher than the hype and enjoyment for me when the original Zelda & Cill came out. I and many others appreciate this wonderful masterpiece of an album, so keep up the great work but if you need to take a break because if stress from expectations, due dates, and overall quality of what you're working on, can break someones mental health down, and on top of that damage what you're working on that causes that stress.(this was kind of wordy but I want to send a message to the people who read this and hopefully understand what I'm trying to say)

This as well as the first Zelda & Chill are really milestones in gaming-themed lofi hip hop. The production is just incredibly clean and well thought through. It's always a joy to come back to those for studying or simply to relax. Two of my all-time favorite lofi productions for sure. And miraculously they are getting better, every time I listen, as I become more and more familiar with the tracks.

I love how the song right after Hyrule Castle is The Song of Healing. It makes it feel like the Song of Healing is being used to heal the malice in Hyrule Castle (I don't know if this was on purpose or not, but if it was, it's genius).
