I like this interpretation of Lilith. Cunning, wise beyone worldly comprehension, and guile as a seer. She is a force to be reckoned with and the scariest thing is she doesn't need much to decimate someone/thing. Her strongest suite is her mental manipulation which we witnessed have brought down Heaven, Hell, and even Earth.

Unfortunately that was very foolhardy, he was clearly out of her league and she cleaned house with his blood. He might have been better off asking who Lilith was in front of everyone then he might have stood a chance at breaking her spell on everyone. He may have even had a chance to get away so that he could come back later and try to save everyone. But because he just had resist, Lilith made an example of him. Sometimes you have to let the enemy win a few battles just so you can stand a chance at winning the war.

Her death makes me sad... Through out the entire lore, she and Tyrael were the only 2 celestials who actually cared about humanity... Sure, her methods were unacceptable to say the least, but she were a demon... She's like a mother that would gently walk her son to a lake, and the repeatedly toss him in deep water to teach him to swim. Brutal to the point of madness, but it still would be sad to watch that kid stab his mother to death to escape her brutality. Rest in peace Lilith. At the very least, you taught us that zealously following the light is not the answer. Eternal conflict was born out of the separation between light and dark. Perhaps, by your hand, it can be ended through their unity in humans.

I know Lilith has her own affection for Inarius for all of their creation together. Inarius sacrificed their creation together, their child, and wants the destruction of Sanctuary. Came after Genevieve O'Reilly's rendition of Lilith as Moira Overwatch. Lilith is gorgeous! For those who don't know, Genevieve is an elite actress, mostly known for her role and consistent reprising of Mon Mothma in Star Wars. She plays Moira in Overwatch and a crossover was made in which Moira is Lilith. She has a few voice lines that came from Lilith and Genevieve did an amazing job at reimagining said voice lines

You know what, I kinda like the way Lilith met her end. Yeah, the antagonist turning to stone is common but her pose was the interesting part. It’s as if it was the true face of Lilith, a little girl on her knees asking for one thing after another. An escape from an inescapable conflict, true love that was but a lie, a son who’d be stolen from her, a throne that couldn’t ever be her’s…… a wish that could never come true. And so ends the tale of the little girl destined to seek and destined to lose.

That's an interesting way to look at it. I saw it more as her falling to get death gracefully, just as gracefully as she performed throughout the game. Everything about her spoke of beauty, sensuality, and grace, and even in her death, she gave the same essence.

I give Inarius credit for having the strength to kill the woman he loves, you can hear him crying after he stabs Lilith. But killing his own child and creation in hopes of getting back into heaven? Nope. As for the game, It's stupid that we're forced to fight on the side of the person who wants to kill us instead of the person who is trying to uplift us. I will never play this game, all the "good guys" are stupid. "Yeah! Let's fight for the guy who wants to kill us." Great story, great acting, great cinematics. Terrible that we can't choose a side.

The scariest thing about the design for Lilith is that she resembles actual ancient hieroglyphs in ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia. 😖 There was this one hieroglyph in ancient Egypt where a certain blue hair human figure was giving an offering to a horned figure named Banebdjedet. Plus with their worship of the apis bull it makes ya wonder a lot what exactly happened during certain eras within history.

I have a big feeling Diablo V will have it's antagonist(s) be apathy or nothingness itself. If Lilith was humanity's mother giving them all the powerful/passionate emotions of such strong desires and Inarius gave his children the demure emotions of passive ideations, well they're both like actually dead. More so, they even died at the moment they had absorbed all the hell lords and angel lords into them. What emotions do humans get left? There must be simply none left. We saw not just Lilith/petals herself, but even the ground grayed and died. I think nothingness approaches them now. There enemy is existence's finality.

Y'all be careful with Lilith. I know she seems right for decimating all angels and demons who wanted to kill all Nephalem, and also killing Inarius for killing their son... But she stills instigates the worst in humans. She still wanted to only take on the strong, and said fuck all for the weak because she's no savior. Only redeemable thing in all this is she stands by her choices - and accept the consequences. Even till the very end. I still give her the sie-eye there for basically saying 'well remember since you squander your free will, you won't survive without me.' Okay... but many will die because you don't give a fuck about them too sis. No one truly knows why she wants to defeat Hell that badly. It sure ain't because she loves all her children. The voice actress is phenomenal, and the graphic designers are simply geniuses. ❤.

Hell and Heaven will always try overpowering humanity, in other words her descendants, to tip the balance of the eternal war. She's right in her way of thinking that the current stage of humanity (that Inarius chose to weaken) is not ready to face either faction. You sure see humanity's potential though, they were holding their own in Hell, against a demon horde, yet shattered as soon as their false idol fell, who by the way didn't lift a finger to help them

How so? I thought the story was quite good and can't suss out why people aren't fans. Cool origin story for yourself. Lilith is corrupting everything and you can seen and feel it through the game world Inarius is identified early as being prideful selfish and a dick and he is. Good twists with the primes. Left open ended for hopefully bulk expansions. I mean I honestly couldn't find a single error with the story telling. Much better than D1/2/3 by comparison.

I really like Lilith. Everyone had a choice, she never forced anyone to her will. Clearly a very complex character with a conflicting duality in her nature. Not just some purely evil antagonist similar to those like her father. She seemed graceful, soft, tender. Especially with her son, her motherly essence shown true; but was also shared with humanity. Otherwise powerful, purposeful and merciless to achieve her goals. Strong both lovingly and vengefully, and obviously simply in power as well. I love her. All hail the daughter of hatred, the creator and mother of sanctuary.

Lilith effectively did. Lilith wisely played Inarius' obvious and fragile desperation by iterating what was always at the back of Inarius' mind; that Heavens will never take him back and he is just a pawn. Inarius crumbled on that realization and turned his back on Lilith whom ripped his wings and turned him mortal. Inarius made himself feeble and Lilith just took advantage of that.

Lillith is right she gave humanity free will but they chose to serve a higher power who tells them what to believe, what to think and what to do.
