what could you do to make gc4ios better? not just for frame rates but also make it run like it were on a computer.

KingzVEVO If i had access to a Mac with the latest version of Xcode. I would change the graphics settings since the current settings aren’t on the lowest possible configuration for performance. I would also disable JIT by default. Since it doesn’t seem to change fps and JIT doesn’t work for non-jailbroken devices. I would change JIT Arm64 to Cached Interpreter since the JIT core for dolphin is only for jailbroken devices. GC4iOS would need a core like IR Interpreter from PPSSPP to run pretty close like JIT Arm64. Cached Interpreter basically cuts your performance in half. Overclocking should make certain games run full-speed (Spongebob The Movie Video Game runs on my shitty laptop that is less powerful than my iPhone 6 and can still run 60fps even when Cached Interpreter is on- thats with overclock btw if you didn’t know the obvious). Frame-skipping with or without overclocking is great too. But it’s not as good compared to overclocking. Some games don’t even overclock at all like Luigi’s Mansion. Thats why frame-skipping comes in hand. But they removed frame skipping from dolphin on PC about a year ago. Now my laptop can’t 27FPS Super Mario Sunshine anymore (stuck with 17FPS now). I’m 100% sure that they will not add frame-skipping back. I could possibly add a settings configuration menu to change cores and settings such as JIT, disable fps and Overclock. I could try to fix the touch screen controller and add wii controls like on android. I don’t know how to add MFI support but someone else can do that since it is in the ps2 emulator for ios. I would like to change the opaque of the touch screen controller to my likings if i can find that setting somewhere (i haven’t checked yet). I would also change the menu text that you can see on GC4iOS. I would make it say (Yo boy brand175 is taking over GC4iOS and nobody can stop me and if you do, Fuck you). I would also add a credits menu which if you click the name in the box. It would take you to the desired URL link that is put in the designated box. I would put Made by: Oatmealdome and Will Cobb (miniroo321) in separate boxes with clickable links (just like selecting a game in iNDS, keep in mind if you don’t know what i’m talking about). I would also put The Legendary Testers of all times (in big bold letters, about font size 15-ish in Comic Sans just for the shits and giggles) is brand175 (in normal font size and font letter). I could possibly add bluetooth keyboard support since i have a bluetooth keyboard (BTW Snes9x EX+ has a fully working bluetooth keyboard support. Since Retroarch hates my keyboard and will only work with my bluetooth camera click button remote which also acts as a keyboard. It acts like a Volume+ button. I could probably make the shaders in dolphin work. But who would want those greasy stupid filters on while playing on ios. Dolphin should add more shaders at least 20 more. Something like dog vision or rainbow disaster and even a drunk goggle shader would be a cool thing. But i doubt that they will add more shaders or at least anytime soon. Disabling both JitArm64 and JIT in the DSP options should make GC4iOS work since JIT only works on jailbroken devices and disabling it should make it run. But it might be slower or the same since JitArm64 runs about 3/4 the speed of the CPU. BTW the ps2 emulator has JIT. But theirs no way i can disable it so it can play on non-jailbroken devices. It doesn’t seem like you can disable it at all. Since theirs no option to disable it entirely which sucks. Since GC4iOS is permanently stuck on JitArm64 unless someone over writes it with CACHED_INTERPRETER and manually makes EnableJit = True to EnableJit = False. GC4iOS does in fact have cached interpreter support hidden in the Github and IPA version (Reading the Lines of Code). I also data mined the shit out of GC4iOS. Thats how i know what setting to change. What to add. What things need to be changed (like the graphics settings and JitArm64 into Cached Interpreter with EnableJit disabled). I’ve also been testing cached interpreter on both my computers with overclock and without to see what it would be like on my iPhone 6 and iPad Pro (Since the speed of my shitty laptop is slightly lower than my iPhone 6 and my iPad Pro slightly higher than my desktop that i use for GameCube Corruptions. If Cached Interpreter was the only core available for GC4iOS and if GC4iOS has fixed all of it’s performance issues. I know which games that can run full speed with overclock on for both iPhone 6 and iPad Pro. And which games that are slow. Metroid Prime 1 is another example of a game that can’t overclock. I’m pretty sure the second didn’t overclock too.
