Insane collection! I never had a GameCube. I moved over to PlayStation during the fifth generation of consoles. My son and I just got a GameCube and also a Game Boy Advance. So many gems I missed out on. We live in Japan so we can get almost anything for the GC / GBA super cheap, which is nice. We just finished up Luigi's Mansion over the holidays. I guess I'll be humming that theme song for the rest of my life.

It's never too late to enjoy the gamecube! Luigis mansion is a classic. One of the best first party titles on the cube. Your very lucky being able to get things cheap in japan. There are a couple of Japanese exclusive items ive been after that i can't find being thst ebay is my only source for things in japan. The playstation was great in this generation as well. So many memories there with my favorite console including going with my dad to Walmart on Black Friday of 2003 to pick up the Legend of Zelda Collector's Edition bundle, playing Timesplitters 2 in my grandparents basement with my cousin, and playing Soul Calibur 2 with my brother.

There's only one Nintendo GameCube Controller that you need that's left I think, and that's the Char's Wavebird. You have the Char's Gundam controller, but not the Wavebird variation. Only 1,000 of those were ever produced. I was lucky enough to score one back in the day and still have it in it's box. Hope you get one.

Actually im missing the club Nintendo wavebird as well as the chars wavebird. I only have the complete wired official gamecube controller set. Thanks for watching!

Nice collection, its a trek I am just now starting on my own. Im also going for all the variants, and it seems like you are too. So I have to ask, are you also counting all the variants of the games that came with movie tickets (Like ant bully, Charlie and the chocolate factory, etc.) They are basically the same, except they have the "Free movie ticket inside!" or something similar printed on the front cover. Im sure you have already thought about this as someone with such a extensive collection as you, I guess I was just wondering for personal reasons. I myself like collecting those cases, and I basically started off with them (They are almost all pretty cheap!) Anyway, nice vid, I enjoy the content!

I'm trying to get a complete PAL gamecube collection but I have 2 problems no retro stores near me and I'm 12 so I don't have much but I'm getting some games today Here's what I have so far: 1.Billy hatcher and the giant egg 2.Donkey konga (of course the neccessities) 3.Mario kart double dash 4.Rocky 5.Sonic heroes 6.Sonic mega collection 7.Super smash bros melee 8.WWE wrestlemania X8 Wish me luck :/

Yes the PAL version. Its a great game. I got mine years ago before gamecube blew up. I cant remember what i paid or if i traded. It wasn't worth that much when i got it i do remember that. I did buy my 1st copy new back in the early 2000s but ended up trading it in towords time splitters 2 for gamecube because i didn't like cubivore... Thanks for watching!

What are your thoughts on the double pack with Bloody Roar and Lost Kingdoms called the Virtual Attack Pack?

Hmm i honestly havent heard of that pack. Cant find any info on it either. There were several store specific bundles that went unrecorded. I snatch up any variants i dont have when i come across them. Ive realized its pretty much impossible to get all variants since some pop up from time to time that i was unaware of.

@@theconsolecollector Yeah I purchased it for $300... it looks really cool and I've never seen another one other than pictures on Google... the GameCube Anthology Book that I have mentions it in the back and all it says it's it's "very rare".....

There are 554 different titles. The others are the combo sets like the metroid windwaker combo Andrew darkened skye outlaw golf set.

Im trying to collect all gamecube controllers but they are all above 150 usd. What’s your opinion on this? Should I buy them? Or wait until the prices go down? Im afraid it keeps raising :/

It seems to be the hot system to collect for. Alot of the higher end titles seem to be on the raise and most likely won't drop anytime soon. All depends how patient you are. Garage sales and buy and sell pages and groups are your best best for alot of the filler games. You might want to buy the rarer stuff sooner then later then work on the lower end stuff later on. 150 USD? You're looking for new / boxed? You can definitely get used controllers in good condition for less than $150.

@@theconsolecollector Agreed. I can't see prices coming down for a long time on retro gaming stuff. My hunch is retro gaming has more "legs" as a collectible than say, baseball cards. Not only can you display items but actually get loads of entertainment out of it as well.
