Another hidden gem is Spongebob Squarepants:Battle for Bikini Bottom. Not only is it an exceptional platformer but it's one of the best looking games on the Cube. Super sharp & colorful, definitely worth playing!

Battalion wars is very difficult because of the controller. Since you have to manage multiple troops at the same time and you must also control your actual unit on top of that, you can often fail your mission because you didn't choose the right unit to control and/or the others got wiped out. Sometimes, the orders given to the others is not properly executed, which could very quickly lead to a game over too. That game has a very interesting concept, but it's merciless and that kills the mood.

I love Lost Kingdoms. I have both the original and the sequel. The first one is easy to find but the sequel will cost you a bit. They are simple action adventure rpgs that lack an open world and take less than ten hours to beat, but they are really pretty games with a fun game play twist of leveling up your monsters to do your fi fighting for you.

I would argue that Star Fox Adventures is actually a great game. A black sheep and poor-fit for the Star Fox franchise, but an excellent Action-Adventure Zelda-esque game. It is also Rare's last second-party game they developed for Nintendo, and the only one they made for the GameCube, before being bought out by Microsoft.

Nice video. I'm on a bit of a GameCube tip at the moment having got my old PAL Gamecube and GB player out of storage. I've now bought an official Nintendo RGB scart lead off eBay and a action Replay so I can run the GB interface. The picture for GBA games is just stunning on a CRT when playing them at 240p. In addition I yesterday bought a Japanese Spice GameCube with matching GB player lol. When I've got the cash I'm gonna get a HDMI mod done on the Spice Cube. Anyway this was a great video, I love your production values for your video's :)

Yeah I can't wait to get it but as it's being from Japan via SAL I'm sure it will takes ages to get here lol. This video has a inspired me to pick up a copy of Starfox Assualt. I was always aware of that game, but wasn't aware how great it looked.

dylan craven Ha, I just bought a Spice Gamecube & SD Media Launcher as well, it's modded for US games but I also ordered a spice orange GB Player to match. I have the Indigo model already but I have always wanted a spice model so I splurged. I use component cables with a Framemeister so I'm very excited to use the GB Interface with it to get better PQ from GBA games.

Star Fox Adventures was so underrated, Assault was of course better but I loved roaming around in a zelda like game as fox it was a really fun game. Wish more people loved star fox like me

Another great list! I have to give it to you, you showed games I never even heard of but I do have Star Fox Assault, Wario World and Gist. I have to disagree with you about Star Fox Adventures. True it is not a traditional Star Fox game but it is extremely polished and a very fun game in its own right.

Good video dude, some games I'd never heard of in this episode. I might have to try out Geist. Ha it's funny people panned Starfox Adventures but I quite liked it, think it's cuz I didn't get overly hung up on the lack of flying & took it for what it was... a Zelda clone. Oh & I really liked Beach Spikers too, dunno if you've played that -far better than DOA:XV imo & way less pervy lol

Dude all well and good making this list, but perhaps make a more affordable one? 50 pounds for Starfox... I need to be dying for the game to pay that much and even then I wouldn't pay that much for any game.
