your videos are always well made that being said I did have a couple of things id like to say. 1.) I would of liked a grater comparison with the joycon's to a standard GameCube controller or something like the power a GameCube style controllers. 2.) you didn't talk about the build quality of the controller all that much (ex. the feel of the plastic, if the buttons feel like mush, how the triggers are better or worse.) 3.)the pacing felt a bit off. 4.) the 10% code at the end makes this feel like this was a sponsored video and if it is a disclaimer in the beginning wound have been nice. I don't want to be harsh as I know you put in effort, I just hope this can be some constructive criticism so if you review another controller in the future these things can be taken into account!

Thank you, I appreciate the advice! Mentioning the 10% code was a requirement for this collab so I needed to mention it. NYXI didn't pay me anything, they just sent the controller for free so it wasn't a paid sponsorship which is why there wasn't a disclaimer. I honestly should've talked more about the D-Pad, just kind of forgot about it since the games I played to test them out didn't use it as much so next time I'll definitely go more in depth. These were my first impressions so I'll cover it again after months of use!

Looks cool. I use my normal GameCube controller quite a bit on the Switch, except - it's missing one or two buttons for certain gameplay in games [I forget which buttons] and you cannot press down the sticks for a L3/R3 function in certain games. So this is a good incentive alongside the GCN controllers originally made.

Yeah that's something I noticed too about original GC controllers! I really like them but they are missing modern enhancements which is why controllers like the Wizard are fantastic!

It's missing seven buttons. The left shoulder button, left joystick, right joystick, Minus, Plus, Home, and Capture. Now, you could say six since Start can just be mapped to Home. But, either way, if you want this for serious Smash, it won't do. It's not close enough to GameCube.

The FL button can be mapped to any button on the left side and the FR can be mapped to any button on the right

Wish you wouldve spent more time on the d-pad, i play a lot of mario maker and use the d-pad for it. On pro controllers the d-pads are ultra sensitive and its pretty impossible to not get an accidental up or down input

Yeah, I was really just going off of first impressions. The D-Pad on this controllers seems like it has less travel distance than the pro controller so I think it's even more possible to get the wrong input. I'm not too sure though since I haven't played a game with the D-pad yet.

The D-Pad is a'ight. I'm not a big D-Pad user, so I d'know if it'd be good for fighters, but it was fine in Tears of the Kingdom.
