Exactly. If rumble is turned off in the settings the game makes things like exclamation marks appear but the game thinks rumble is on because it is an emulation. That’s why no exclamation marks appear.

Just feels bad when it's a really simple mistake that carries on through over an hour of footage and even though you can see exactly how to do it they continue stumbling around not understanding the mechanics, and they always skip the tutorials and what not despite never fully understanding what they are doing. They could watch it off camera or do a couple practice rounds to get into the mindset but instead it always feels like its their first time playing a game and it's awkward when my 13 year old brother can understand the mechanics without being able to read (special needs) yet they can't. Like come on man.. there's a limit. They literally saw the CPU doing it right before the comments they were making about how they didn't think they could use it on themselves. Like you said, people can just not watch the videos, but I think it's understandable why some people are upset sometimes. The capsule thing is an uncommon example in my opinion of their usual selves. I think they are better than that as people, so either it's a bit or they don't care enough to take the time to understand what they are doing. It turns from entertaining to a slog until they realize how things work.

All those boards are so memorable and have a fun twist that makes them different. Looking at the new SMP games, the only difference between the boards is the theme. The actual function of the spaces is the same, they just look different.

If someone wants to know what the different colors of the capsules mean in this game: The green capsules trigger movement events and can move you or other players to other spaces. The yellow capsules trigger coin events that make you or other players gain or lose coins. The red capsules trigger capsule events that make you or other players get or lose capsules. The blue capsules trigger all kinds of special events that can even have an effect on Stars. The only purple capsule is the Bowser Capsule. If a player gets it from a Capsule Machine, Bowser will appear and make a Red Space on the board a Bowser Space.

The two things about this series that really get me: 1. Dan making legit impressive pro gamer moves 2. The AIs being spoonfed and handed literally EVERY star. The “roll higher than a 1 to get a star” still takes the cake I’m not going to acknowledge them ignoring the obvious instructions set right in front (any more than this) either because.... I just don’t want to think about it anymore....
