After the impression left by this video, I was a bit shocked to learn how deep and bursting with content this game is. Apparently it's just the hitbox for the strikes that's very strict for a game with 2D fighters in a 3D ring. So for fans of the game, this video must have been like watching someone play Morrowind and swing at a rat for 5 minutes with empty stamina.

It's the childhood play fight progression. One kid pushes another kid playfully, then the other one pushes back a little less playfully, then the first kid pushes back a little less playfully still, then the second kid pushes again almost not playfully at all, then the first kid just straight up pushes the second, and then it just devolves into a mess of knees and elbows rolling on the floor and ends with a bloody nose and a black eye, usually not on the same person.

Did anyone else notice that the timer in the bottom-right was much faster than it should've been? It was so uncoordinated that it said the match was around 21 minutes, which is longer than the entire episode, an episode in which Dan and Arin spent the first 4 minutes or so in menus.

The game has a mechanic after the match ends where you can continue to beat on your opponent if you choose for a period of time. It's something you'd do if you were the "bad guy"
