For example, at the beginning of the game, a woman asks you to try out the video game she made. Not saying no to her gives you a minigame :) You can effectively triple the length of the game by “saying yes” to certain prompts

My God, I knew I recognized that voice. It really is Marius Winter aka MajusArts. He's a German animator who used to do some really amazing Monkey Island animations. At least that's how I found out about him years ago when I was still in school. Apparently he directed this game and also voiced a lot of the characters. I can't believe how far he's come.
