For those who found Dubny doesn't appear at the locked gate like he should, instead head back to Steward (the trader) and head straight east past the safe room. There should be a guard on your right. For me at least, I managed to speak to Dubny through the wall in there. It's not exactly the best fix for the quest but it at least progresses the game.

What in the world.... it sent me north to the waste processing station where I ran into two guys that wanted me to grab a key. Very interesting

absolutely the same. It's navigating me to waste station except what's in the video. And when I go there, there's no backpack. When I reach the waste station, main quest dissappear and I don't know what to do next.

@ try previous save like after you came to the base but before the conversation and exchange with this guy for artefact

you cant get into the base without doing the cutscene which finishes the wildlands quest chain. if you go to early into the storm you die. if you wait 5 minutes you can go outside but the game still thinks theres an emission happening which bugs your game completely, soft blocking you.
