Rise of Cultures - 90 - "Lots of Mali Event Gears"

I have an account on the Beta server. The next event after this event is in 2 weeks, as far as I'm concerned. This new event will be the world fair event, with a building called the Exhibition.This building really only gives you research and very minimal resources of your current era (compared to what you'll be earning). This event will last for 3 weeks and will be very easy. 1-6 research at level 10 may be helpful, but could be quite minimal compared to your total. During this event, you will have several times when the daily promotion is a ticket to receive a level up token either the Madrasa, the Yort of the Huns, or the Shrine of reflection. This came about a week into the event. I definitely expect you to easily receive at least 5-10 of these. The event is very kind to you and gives you a 5% chance to get the daily promotion item if you follow the task to get 1 point, 10% for the 2 point task, and 15% chance for the 3 point task. This is one of the events which you will need to get the requested combination of 3 different items on a merging board. This should be an easy event to be honest. In addition, the chests will often give you Jokers, which can be used to draw items or to free a single person in negotiations.

I did chests 1 at a time the middle one sometimes has 3 gears & 1 not

You definitely want to open them one by one b/c you need the 2 point chest when the special is guaranteed, wastes fewer currency and you don't get more progress toward the following ds like 3 pointer chests otherwise normally do you just might miss one to two grand prizes opening 3/4ths gear middle chests & ds guaranteed middles

Don't listen to all these people about Valhalla, the Viking Ship is incredible Valhalla is a waste with just Abu Simbel's Pal synergy & just one type-arena. No other palaces worth having over other types during fighting you get just 6.5 damage & the goods boost is essentially none 600 is not worth hogging up a spot & if you keep Abu & Great Wall all the time there is already Itza for Tikal's goods. valhalla is a b or c tier with the reputation of s but actually is almost freakin trash

We just needed a second type & better palaces you won't battle with Hanging Gardens out, just one of either Carc/Aachen & not the former leaves just Abu and Sayil if you have a need for bastion hp you're eithwr really doing it wrong or in niche cases LOL so just Abu but the Viking Ship my goodness is worth probably the second best I get 5000 goods + almost 100 gears/day better than Val

ive been saving since the beginning of the event, and only god 50k of the mali currency. how is that possible?

@@GameHopping yeah, the exact same, have completed them all and we even got the the gears daily on the same day. but i had 15k less currency for some reason. could it be bcs im in the early rome still? i thought ur progress in game was irrelevant to the event itself

Daily logins, incidents, & Alhambra had ALMOST 80k AFTER 2 daily specials (Madrasa & age up coin lol)

I’m really starting to get tired of these events. I know you can win some very good prizes, but I don’t enjoy playing the game the way you have to to make real progress. I find it extremely annoying to have to keep saving my research, and not collect coins, or food, or incidents, in case you need them for a task. I’m a very impatient person, and when I have the resources to move forward through the main part of the game, I want to do it straight away. I think I might start skipping some events if they continue to be as frequent as they have been lately. I know I’ll be missing out on some good prizes, but what’s the point in playing a game if it isn’t enjoyable?

Look up the quest list and prepare ahead of time minimal waiting required. The entire task chart posted before event starts lmao 🤣

You can also try going for valhalla- it gives one extra commander slot, it gives an all unit damage boost- and gives a chest with goods or a mercenary commander. I really recommend you try getting it, specially because you have trouble battling. I got mine on my 6th spin! Good luck with vikings btw! ❤
