My wife and I figured out the sentence very quickly but then I’m ashamed to say we never considered the actual decoder table and resorted to using the clues. To make matters worse we actually tried a couple of combinations so I had even looked at the back of it…it’s funny how you can be so focused on one thing that you don’t see the answer right in front of you.

I felt clever for noticing the stuff on the back of the decoder from Day 1, but it took me a distressingly long time today to realise that "table" meant the decoder....
