Danke für das Video, hat mir sehr geholfen den Lüfter zu säubern u.v.m. Du hast hin und wieder Schritte übersprungen und man wusste manchmal nicht mehr warum so viele Schrauben übrig sind :-/, aber gut, es gibt auch keine andere Videos welche es besser erklären, deswegen :-)

Hey. I pulled apart my laptop same model cleaned it applied new thermal paste and temperatures are perfect but I keep getting the black screen and it crashes which was a common problem with this laptop. Is there a fix? Browsing and everything works but as soon as the gpu usage goes up it gets a black screen and I have to reboot. I've tried running unigine benchmark valley and it will run for 5 seconds then black screen again. I've read on countless forums and everyone seems to get it and I can't find a solution. Apparently the problem is this "The problem really pertains to fixing the clock frequencies between the GPU and the CPU and that caused all the problems. They apparently loose sync with each other at variable speeds due to a bug in the power management."

Hello, it could be that the GPU chip has desoldered. You can try warming up the GPU if it works after that you will need a new graphics card.

I have the same laptop and the same problem as you have. I kept getting black screen all the time, even when watching youtube!! The only solution I found was to downclock the GPU memory from 799 MHz to around 350-400 MHz ( I use the app Ntune). Doing this totally stopped the black screens for me! The only problem is that you loose a lot of FPS in many games. I dont know why this happens, but I suspect Nvidia pushed the memory clocks from the 9700m way too high, and it is not stable as it is, because most qosmio owners have the same issue over and over.

i have the 9800M sli and i only had one blackscreen. it’s even overclocked. running 258.96 drivers if that helps, most stable for me

Hi, There is probably a short circuit, try removing the battery and DVD drive.
