When watching this scene where Gamera picks up a rock and starts hitting Zigra's back spines with it you can almost make out what sounds like music I'm not kidding it sounds like what you hear when playing a xylophone.

You know what would have been funny to hear Zigra's thoughts on all this as Gamera was doing that to him he probably would have thought something along the lines of 'This is so humiliating and Degrating hey knock it off you Ninja Turtle reject' that would have been funny even though the Ninja Turtles wouldn't exist for nearly 2 decades after this movie came out but I'm sure everyone understands what I mean.

You know this scene was so freaking hilarious I was laughing my ass off the way Gamera was hitting Zigra's back spikes like that I kinda wish they did something similar in the Showa era of Godzilla films where the G-Man fought a monster similar to Zigra and did the exact same thing.

Man aside from Gamera all of the monsters he fought are so pathetic and weak if any of them had fought any of the monsters from the Godzilla Universe wouldn't stand a chance they would easily get trounced by monsters like: King Ghidorah Rodan Mothra Anguirus Space Godzilla MechaGodzilla Godzilla Every one of these mighty monsters would easily beat every one of Gamera's foes without even breaking a sweat.

Worst Gamera villain ever! The flying shark with the heat ray or whatever it was... Most implausible fight scene ever: Gamera breathing fire underwater then playing xylophone tunes on his enemy's back. Worst Gamera film ever.

Actually, it is quite possible to use fire underwater. It’s a testament of just how hot Gamera’s flame truly is.

The improbability of using fire under water the way it is done here is not a matter of heat. It is the fact that water is a liquid and has a much higher resistance than air does. It takes a lot of pressure for a flame to literally push the water away to keep it from extinguishing the flame. When you use water to douse a fire, you're not cooling it into being extinguished; you're snuffing it out with liquid.
