The Crash series seemed like it was finally getting back on its feet, then Activision put Toys for Bob to work in the CoD mines and pumped out a live-service game that no one wanted, and now with Toys for Bob going independent again (and the aforementioned live-service game bombing) who knows how long it'll take for another good Crash game to come out.

Unofficial numbers show around 1 million total players across all platforms in its entire first year. It almost never entered weekly or monthly top sales charts, even in its lauch week(except the exact launch day where it entered a few charts below Top 3). So yeah, in a lot of ways it flopped hard for a AAA two year project. This is the real world AAA gaming industry where a few million of deep discount sales years down the line doesn't mean much. What planet are YOU from?

I just wanna say, that the whole Crash Bandicoot 5 "cancelled" story has been severely misinterpreted by almost every outlet. Canadian Guy Eh clarified this VERY well in his most recent video going over the whole situation. So I do recommend checking that out before doing anyone else spreads the wrong idea around. Nicholas Kole was the lead artist on both Spyro Reignited & Crash 4, by the way. Not a developer. Don't know why SO many of these articles got that wrong. He was also laid off from Toys For Bob a few years ago, before Crash Team Rumble was even announced.

Would LOVE a new, big budget Driver game with a really solid story. As long as they don't "Ubisoft" it and cram a bunch of padding into it. Driver needs a tight narrative and really good driving physics set in a large city. Maybe throw in some side missions here and there ala the phone answering machine from the first game. As long as the content is meaningful, I'm for it.

The idea of a new Driver game makes me so happy. It's not a hugely popular opinion but I loved Parallel Lines from a gameplay point. The whole time switching concept was awesome, and with San Francisco, there's a great track record of innovation.

Driver is not a Ubisoft-game. It was simply bought up by Ubisoft, or the studio was, and it's still open (though, as far as I can find, their last game was 'Ode' in 2017, but they might have supported other studios), back in 2016, while the first three games were not under Ubisoft. - Not to say those were the greatest games ever or that the ones under Ubisoft were bad. Arguably "San Fransisco" is probably people's favorite. But I'm just saying, I don't particularly see it as a Ubisoft-title somehow, not cause of the style, but who really connects the two brands. In any case, I feel like someone should just make a proper Driver-game, and I have a vision for it, but no ability to make a game, especially not of that type. - If anyone wants my input, like a creative director (among other things), and you (and others) can make an open-world driving game with good physics and such, let me know.

I loved Driver. The car mechanics felt better than the vehicles in GTA to me. I would have loved it more if it was more open world than it was. I remember there was a ton of places you couldnt explore on foot in driver 3 and I was so eager to discover all of the map.

Problem with Halo tv show was that it was only on Paramount, which is an insular service not widely available, compared with, say, Fallout on Amazon. They should ship it to a more globally available service as I would love to watch it.

The return of driver would be awesome. I loved driver san francisco. I played it when it first came out and recently found it in a used game store. Snatched that up and it still holds up strong and had better driving physics than many modern racing games

I loved Driver as a kid. When Driver 2 came out, I was all over that game. Not sure why, but I spent a lot of time on the free roaming.

I feel like Halo could be a great show if they either did, an almost one to one recreation of one of the books (with slight adjustments cuz books don't always translate perfectly to tv or movies), oooooor, a completely disconnected story not focused on chief that still maintains the lore that everyone loves.

Affect? Netflix have done the majority of good game adaptations to date, and also are more than willing to make weird stuff for better or worse, they're the last people who are going to try and make a studio become more generic
