You have to admit, tekken character endings are amazing. I love how strange they are, and it really helps the weirdness of some of the character varieties. Not to mention I feel Mishima Industries or whatever the company is called really shouldn't be taken all that serious in the context of the story lol its all just madness.

Well that just happen in character endings, which most of it is not canonical. Canon plot, oh yea Mishima Zaibatsu is no joke. You had to take that seriously. The characters ending just meant to be goofy that all, especially in Tekken Tag, the non-canon game

The Control music video actually does make sense. In that part of the story, Jesse has realized that the Oceanview Motel & Casino (where you see the music video) is actually just a part of her dreams, so she can control it. And, that's what her mind makes up. A crazy, whacky music video. Jesse even remarks afterwards that "Your mind is weird, Jesse." or something to that effect. So yeah, there's context. You just missed it.
@dars52292 жыл бұрын
Hmm. I'm not disagreeing, but I don't really get it. Like, we know other people have used the motel before Jesse. Enough for it to be implemented as a part of FBC security. It's not a product of her dreams, I thought, but something the Bureau has discovered and (mostly) figured out how to use. I thought the music video was, considering we see it after finding out Darling has travelled to a "different plane of existence," a hint that wherever he is, he's happy.

One of my more recent WTF moments was in Kingdom Hearts 3. When Sora and just about All of his friends and allies, get one shot waxed by Terra-Xehanort. And it happens in a cutscene, you have absolutely no control. Likewise there's another cutscene earlier on when Riku gets his Keyblade from KH2 - Way to Dawn, destroyed which was supposed to be a manifestation of his heart shaped much like the Soul Eater from the first game and Chain of Memories. So how the hell it could Break apart from being destroyed by those tornado swarm Heartless. And I'll still never get where the hell he got the New Keyblade - Braveheart, in the 3rd official title. Not to mention how weird and dumb it is that Xion who is more or less not supposed to exist anymore, is a Keyblade wielding Nobody formed from Kairi and Sora when their hearts were joined and then separated in KH1. If anything she should've had her own sort of abnormal looking Keyblade much like Ventus' from KH: BBS, with the reverse head design. But if nothing else I think her's was basically supposed to be Oblivion that Roxas was duel wielding along with Oathkeeper yet Nomura never clarified if it was. And that's not going into why Kairi is still using that flower Keyblade she got from Riku in his Ansem (Heartless) form - Destiny's Embrace. The whole point about the Keyblades was that they were supposed to be manifested by the wielder to indicate the design based on their heart and personality. Like Terra's being large for strength and Aqua's for looking sleek and elegant or Eraquis' for seeming simple but having an underlying strength similar to a Katana to it much like his design seeming reminiscent of an old Samurai. That's like if I had a reputation for being a sort of Tech geek but the Keyblade that I would generate just looked like a flaming horned skull just because I like some of the music from Doom 2016 and Doom Eternal instead of coming out more like the Photon Debugger from Space Paranoids or the Dual Disc from the Grid. And then for something that my heart (plot manifested power weapon) creates and hides at my command to get broken, makes even less sense since technically if you put it back in yourself it should come back out good as new. It's not like the sword needs to be assembled by some great Keyblade blacksmith.

I loved that quest listed on the number nine. I loved it so much that I went from doing nothing but stealth and taking my time, to just going around on my chocobo running into enemies whilst swinging my sword.

Me screaming at the top of my lungs at my T.v. "YOU ARE NOT GONNA THROW SHIT AT ME!" is still a moment my girlfriend uses to describe my relationship with Fromsoft games.

This entire list could be Yakuza side missions lol. The S&M guy, the naked bubble guy, the guy caught in a trash pile, it just goes on and on. The baby one is definitely a GOAT contender though

I dont know if this really counts, but I really found it way too amusing when I found the roombas in Destiny 2. You could find them on Titan in the corridors where seveal missions and the Strike takes place.

Legend of Zelda (esp OoT and MM) also have a ton of weird WTF moments, although they don't tend to stick around as much. But like I will never be able to forget about the hand in the bathroom asking for toilet paper in MM...
