The Conan cameo is actually cool. He was interviewing Hideo Kojima and Kojima, on a whim, asked him if he wanted to be in the game. They then took some 360° pictures of Conan and Kojima stayed true to his word

Titanfall 2's implementation of the time warping thing between two states of the same location is easily the best. Wall running and dodging burning debris of a crumbling building while taking people out, and it coincides with the story, was truly a treat. One of my core memories in gaming.

Man that time ability is cool, Titanfall 2 had it and it was amazing and it really made the single player even better even though it was in only one level and they did an insane job. I replay that level every once in a while. Rly spooks the player with enemies popping out of nowhere or letting you choose who to fight in what timeline.

The Timepiece in Dishonored 2 honestly blew my mind, it immediately struck me that however they pulled it off had to be something truly special in game design.

I didn't know they came out with a new rise of the triad game. I played the hell out of the first one in the mid 90's. A friend's dad repaired computers and had 4 hooked together on a LAN. We'd play deathmatch all night it was a blast!

I saw the title and I said "This should include RotT's dog mode, but that might be too obscue." Then I heard it at #2, and was severely disappointed to realize they did the remake, and did not mention that RotT(at least the original one) had an actual god mode, where you got bigger, faster, invulnerable, could throw energy balls that homed in on and killed anything on screen, plus were yawning constantly.

The Exclusive Access Duo Boon from Hades is a game changer. It can make or break a whole run depending on if you get it early enough in the run. The ability to make all future boons minimum epic level is insane.

The time shift thingy had been done before in a pretty old game, Clive Barker's Undying, where you use a rune stone thingy to see how things looked in the past or what has happened in certain place so you can find hidden things. But pretty cool

Clive Barker's Undying was a terror/horror masterpiece back in 2001... thanks for remind me of that part of the game it was probably the first time I had seen it in a videogame indeed. My favorite "power-up" in recent games is the unlimited sword in xenoblade chronicles 3. Minor, non-story spoilers: Basically, it is an alternate ultimate attack that changes your class for 90 seconds.

I found duplication with electrokinesis more effective while working on the platinum as it stuns so many enemies to rack up massive damage.

Getting that Kos Parasite is actually important for Arcane builds as it scales only with Arcane and has the highest scaling. Leading to a ton of damage if you manage to get it. Unfortunately you have to beat the hardest boss in the game just to do this. Which makes it kinda redundant in a way cuz you get the best weapon for your build AFTER you beat most of the game. The roll attack is really good. Recommend abusing it.

I think the E-drug from Nier:automata should be on here. It gives u a boost but at that cost of your perception of reality. the more edrug u take the stronger u get but the more pixelated the screen gets till u cant see wtf is happening. Its literally a drug for robots.

Conan being in Deathstranding is not absurd. He literally asked Kojima if he could be in the game. And Kojima said sure. He is not a fan of gaming at all but has the segment where he reviews games and did an interview with Kojima during the development of Deathstranding showing of the tech. The time mechanic in Dishonored 2 was, beyond a doubt, a mind-blowing feature! I grumbled at the time about it only being on 1 level but upon completion of the game I applauded that. It would have been too overused and diminished the other aspects of interaction/combat. Bravo! Also, can we get another Bioshock...please!?!?
