For the Money Gun, "Supreme" is a clothing brand that is wildly expensive for no other reason than you're buying the "Supreme Look". So it makes sense that the company would make a gun that shoots money since they make so much of it.

Supreme isnt that expensive at retail. i believe the shirts normally go for $40. It only gets expensive in the resale market cuz they limit their production and it became extremely hyped

All the guns from the South Park video game that came out in 1999 was great. I loved the Terrance and Phillip dolls, one was a grenade, one was a proxy mine that uses farts to take out enemies. The best gun was a cow launcher, which was the game's equivalent of the rocket launcher.

The Reaper from Perfect Dark is pretty entertaining. Blasting a couple thousand rounds across the arena with the accuracy of a blind stormtrooper. Then when you run out of ammo you just shred them with it like a chainsaw.

I mean, if you're taking entries from _MODS,_ this list should just be full of those alone. Russian Overkill for classic Doom/Doom 2 has the Yamato, a massive energy cannon that makes a nuke look like a child's toy. Death's Doorstep for Morrowind adds in literally Death's scythe. Skyrim has a mod that adds full-auto crossbows and one that adds lightsabers. Halo CE has Cursed Halo, which adds all kinds of insane stuff. Halo Reach has a mod that adds in the Scarab Gun.

Pretty good list, but too many ones that are from mods. There are plenty of crazy guns that are built into a game. For exmaple: the chainsaw gun from the original gears of war. When that game first came out it was super unique and super fun the first time you got to saw a baddy in half.

Don't forget the Cerebral Bore upgrades in Turok 3. One makes the enemy flee before exploding, and the other let's you control the enemy for a bit so you can run into a batch of enemies and blow them up too. Also I will never not mention the Dubstep Gun from Saint's Row.

My favorite video game gun is in Borderlands 2's Tiny Tina's Dragon Keep dlc. It's a shotgun that shoots swords. The swords then explode into smaller swords, that also explode. 🤣

The Pixelizer is definitely a pretty good Ratchet & Clank weapon, easily one of my favorites from the 2016 game. And I can see why it returned for Rift Apart! The Topiary Sprinkler from Rift Apart is also pretty comical when it comes to transforming weapons, so it's up there for me. But one I think doesn't get talked about enough is the Nightmare Box from R&C: Into The Nexus. Simply 'cause it can put fear into enemies for a short amount of time, and it never gets old! Even more fitting, given the games more spooky atmosphere. I could go on, but there's simply SO many great R&C weapons that I won't bother. Otherwise we'd be here all day. 😅

The bug ammo from Oddworld Strangers Wrath was so funny and one of my personal favourites (also i'd love to see a list of games that were hated when they came out but are seen as good games now. I didn't like Mirrors Edge Catalyst when it first came out but i went back to it 6 years on and now it's really starting to grow on me)

Another one that always gets missed on these kinds of lists, Borderlands 2 there's an SMG Bane.. As you hold the trigger down, it screams a blood curdling and obnoxious assortment of screams. It also dramatically lowers your running speed while you're holding it. It's not even a very good gun. It's just hilarious.

If you do another one of these, check out the Lawnmower mod for Doom as well. It replaces the chainsaw with a riding mower that makes you go faster and just run over enemies. It's hilarious. Oh, and the same mod replaces all of the medpacks in the game with Monster Ultra Energy cans too. So you'll just have one hand on the wheel and the other chugging a Monster Energy. It's great.

If you were looking at Mods, you should have also checked Halo's Cursed Halo Again mod. Its full of ridiculously hilarious weapons and events. The best thing by far is the D20 grenade, which instead of just exploding, can spawn a random effect from a batch of like 80 effects, such as spawn a cool OP weapon, spawn 20 hunters, cause a giant nuke explosion that kills everything, including you.

Games need to add more wacky and weird guns. They are fun to find and use. Also from Ratchet and Clank i would of used the ryno3 from Up Your Arsenal. That gun just literally obliterates everything when it’s fully upgraded. It’s like a mini nuke that gets launched and just about every enemy turns to ash. Even at v5 for the weapon it shoots out like these nanotech rounds that disintegrates everything it shoots.
