"These all star runs usually take me 4-5 hours. They're not terribly difficult to do, but sometimes it's a pain in the ass to place the moves correctly without getting hit by the cpus."

The [TAS] in the title stands for "tool assisted," which means the person is playing at a really slow framerate so as to input things impossibly fast… then speeds the recording back up. It requires talent in its own way and certainly dedication, but not talent in the way you mean it. :)

I don't think half the people in the comment section know what tas is. Tas is basically save states but you can replay them like a movie. That's why there's so many frame perfect moves. There's also silly walks and taunts during this, which shows it's not a robot, it's a human using pauses and rewinds to make frame perfect moves. He also just kept rewinding and playing until he got a nine.

Hi. Sorry this is a bit of a late comment, but in Melee, Yoshi doesn't have an UpB recovery move (he throws eggs, instead). To balance this out, during the animation of his second jump, he takes significantly less knockback, and, if you're stamina is low enough, no knockback at all! That way, you're not able to gimp Yoshi off the stage every 10 seconds. Hope this helps.
