No, there isn't. However, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has an orchestrated soundtrack, so a lot of retro courses are remixed using mostly live instruments.

Anyone noticed an issue at the beginning of the race? My kart refuses to move and just goes in snail pace at the very beginning. I'm confused as to why that is. I don't have any issue on other tracks

you're burning out, you are holding down the accelerate button too early during the countdown

@@yaryoo But this issue doesn't resolve itself even if I stop the kart and start again. It's remains like that for the entire track. It could be a glitch, I haven't played it in a while to see if the issue persists.

I'm so mixed. It's still a really fun track despite all it, but I feel like there's so many downgrades for seemingly no reason that bring it down. Gameplay wise they removed a few crucial boosters which messes up some of the pacing and they completely scrambled the piranha pit section, making all the obstacles crammed into the very end instead of spaced out. Scenery wise the dusk lighting was so much better and the dancing arrow signs were iconic and added so much personality. So close to perfection with a couple of changes.

They complain when a track is added to the BCP but is left completely the same, they complain when a track is added but changed, and they complain when a track isn't added. Why are they even playing the game if they aren't enjoying it, then?

@@skc4188 listen, I get it can be annoying when people seem to "complain" about things you like perfectly fine, but you need to remember, people aren't going to be critical of something unless they DO love it. For most people myself included it's out of love and genuine feelings that something isn't as good as we know it can be. This applies to everything, and though there will always be a vocal minority of genuinely annoying people, you gotta just accept that others are more critical than you are, and that's fine :)
