OhManTFE it just seemed like Leo cared for Vincent a lot more the the other way around. Vincent’s ending, he told the wife, Leo’s ending, it seemed like Vincent was on his mind the whole time. He was very visibly upset about killing Vincent. It was so visible that his wife even asked what was wrong. Plus Leo’s wife freaked out having learned Leo died, she was so upset that she fell to the ground. and Vincent’s wife just had tears falling. I like Leo’s ending better because it seemed like a more serious ending. Which is what this game needs. Honestly, both of these endings kinda reminded me of L.A. Noire in a way. Most notably the feel. As this isn’t a gta game. You don’t just break out of prison, wipe out an army and the police let you go.. no.. in real life there would be a man hunt and you would have to go on the run for an awful long time. Which also made me like Leo’s ending better. It was a serious touch of realism in a criminals standpoint. And gaming industry never really go into that a whole lot.. at least the more known games don’t.

If you pay real close attention to the game you can notice that there a few hints to Vincent's betrayal near the ending. I'll give some clues I found out on my own: 1. No flashbacks to proving Vincent's story with Harvey When Leo talks about how Harvey betrayed him, a flashback scene appears showing the events. The same does not occur when Vincent reveals his story. His tale of Harvey killing his brother doesn't get a flashback. That's a little weird, considering both protagonists are equals in the game. You'd think their backstories would be revealed in a similar manner. It's a small hint that the story Vincent is telling never actually happened. He only gets a flashback after the twist, which shows how the betrayal of Leo came to be. 2. Vincent's insistence on getting close to Leo From his first day in prison, Vincent seems determined to get close to Leo. He gets involved in the criminal's business on several occasions, even saving his life a few times. This is a little suspicious, considering they don't know each other. It could be explained that Vincent was trying to get close with Leo because they both have issues with Harvey, and he needs help taking him down. However, Vincent's explanation for knowing Leo's past with Harvey is "the walls are thin in here," which is also suspicious. 3. Harvey doesn't seem to know Vincent According to Vincent, Harvey used him to help with his money laundering business, and he used to visit him regularly to drop off more cash. Things came ahead when the protagonist told Harvey that he wanted out, leading the villain to kill Vincent's brother. So, based on the tale, Harvey and Vincent would've had plenty of dealings. Yet, Harvey never mentions him throughout the game, even when they come face-to-face. And if Vincent approaches him at the table, it seems Harvey starts to ask who he is before getting cut off. If you realize this while playing, it becomes clear that Vincent is lying about his past.

Stako 1 well because this 1: shooting Leo would’ve led to Vincent either getting fired or arrested for killing a beaten man. Leo wasn’t even making a move toward Vincent when he pulled the gun 2: Vincent never really liked Leo. Which makes that hand holding scene less impactful. (Evidence is when Vincent chose to arrest Leo. Plus Vincent had plenty of chances in that warehouse to let Leo just run away. He didn’t even bother asking his superiors to just release Leo. And he was most likely lying about reducing Leo’s sentence) 3: instead of trying to take Leo’s hand, Vincent hands Leo a letter 4: the letter makes a lot more sense, because it shows that he took Leo’s advice. 5: Leo just seemed more impacted about Vincent’s death. He couldn’t even face Vincent’s wife. Plus you could just see the depression in Leo’s eyes as him and his family drive away. Plus he visibly just looks so destroyed over having to kill someone who he thought was his friend. 6: it makes more sense for Leo to have that car. Because Leo is on the run and he’s broke, so it makes more sense for him to have that car. Vincent on the other hand.. he wasn’t broke or on the run.. he should’ve had a more expensive car, it just doesn’t really fit him. (you’ll notice that both Leo and Vincent drive the same car in their endings)

Hell, with what Leo did, his time in prison could’ve been erased. These two took down an entire criminal organization. And they saved each other a number of times. If you play the game for your first time you might not notice but if you play again and pay attention to details then you’ll see. There’s certain errors that can be easily detected but some might not see it. For example the prison yard fight scene, the two guys are holding down Leo, then when Vincent gets pushed in, right before the fight starts, the two guys holding down Leo switch positions. It’s cool that Leo’s left handed I’ve never seen a protagonist who was left handed before.

That would ruin the storyline though because when Leo discovers that Vincent is a cop he became enraged and has this feeling of betrayal because two people in his life (who he thought he could trust) ended up putting him in prison, so he stopped it. One thing that makes the game so good is that is mandatory co op so these two characters have to help eachother or they wouldn't survive. This builds up their relationship eventually making them best friends further pushing the anger deep with leo. Vincent kills Leo as self defense because there was no way Leo was gonna stop trying to kill him.

Fanisha Rahayani what really got me is when he and his wife were driving off and Leo looked out on the highway.. there was just.. so much pain in his eyes. But Vincent honestly doesn’t seem too upset about killing Leo. Which upsets me. It upsets me because they went through so much together.. and all Vincent thought about was his brother being killed. I personally thought that Leo would hold his hand out but Vincent wouldn’t have accepted it, even as Leo lay there, dying in the rain.

If I was developer i would add 4 endings 1)Leo Ending 2)Vincent Ending 3)Arrest Ending (Just before Vincent would shoot Leo there will be option to Arrest Leo) 4)Flee Ending (Just before shooting Leo/Vincent if you would wait too long probably Leo/Vincent will charge to get the gun and there will be another smashing button minigame and if Vincent would won Leo will get shoted but If Leo won he will probably wanted to shoot Vincent but then Emily with backup will come and Leo would flee just before killing Vincent and probably before credits there will be scene where Police will drive to Julie's house to find Leo but Leo and his family would be alerady on their way out of the country)
