Drippy Tha_SlashGod you're making an argument by assuming that I think alcohol should be allowed by people but I draw the line at weed. Neither one of them is good. For that matter, I dislike McDonald's for much the same reason. Go ahead and throw on snack cakes and candy bars as well. And for the record, while I'm not going to pull up statistics for it, smoking weed is still smoking. I'm sure at least one person has gotten lung cancer and died from that. Not to mention the entire section of the war on drugs that's focused on weed. Granted, it's not the biggest drug out there but it's caused plenty of harm.

I cannot say I saw this coming or that I enjoyed this part of the game, but as awful as it sounds, it wasn't the most difficult decision for me. I am still not over what happened after the conclusion of the battle against the gnome on the bed in the first game and he was a prick for the entirety of the first game and a good part of the second game. On the other hand, the mother at least is civil to the player and gives a little spending money and food. Plus, she isn't condescending about making friends. Let's see.... a prick or a person who might not be the best role model, but is still better than established prick relatively speaking... yeah, I have my answer.

That's interesting to note. I myself played as a trans girl in my first run of the game and cis girl in my second and third runs, mainly to let my character be as feminine as possible. I picked up on the mother's choice of pronouns early on, but I must not have paid much attention to the father. One side note: Blake Belladonna is my favorite RWBY teammate and female character of the show.

Well, the mom is the one who got *blanked* but also put medicine in your food. The dad d00d eats pot brownies, *blanked* your mom, and knew about the side effects of weakening your - and their - popularity. But also you turn back time in which everything is normal, your parents are both alive and share the story of their 'popularity powers' . By the time you, the protagonist, was born, you gained about 800 + Million followers. So no matter what your choice, they will both be alive. I guess this neutralizes the choice, but also gives you spoilers if you didn't see the story of their 'powers' .

In the game, the mother tried to slowly give us the truth while the father judges her because of that and (at least from the players perspective) initiate the majority of fights. But in this scene, your father is far more empathetic then your mother. Both are morally wrecked, don't get me wrong. But the "date with the death" scene from my father was the reason I killed my mother. He said that he's scared and he knew that he will be kileld from his own child. And yet he says farewell and that he love us so much. (at least in my try) Our mother on the other hand acted more aggressive towards our father.
