2v8 has always been something me and my SO wanted since I got her into DBD. We both like Killer but never could enjoy it together outside of custom matches. This is so cool and I hope it is something that stays around instead of something like My Little Oni.

The idea of expanding players in a match is exciting but if you disable perks you won't be able to focus on uncompleted exclusive challenge for perks in your archives or current tome or event tomes. Through the modifiers there were hints that's the Dev's were planing on take more control of your gameplay style wen they started to limit customization on how you start matches.

Might actually get back into the game if this sticks around. No perks is not ideal but with so many players running around it would be best to keep it simple, especially as a first run of the mode. Easier to keep a hold on balance between the main mode and 2v8.

I feel like that they're gone have a rough time trying to put Xenomorph there, even though if they put him that would've been incredibly, but killer like Dredged, Demo or even Freddy, shouldn't be a problem because lockers and gens are everywhere, and also Demo can setup portals. Anyways, I can't wait to play that with my friends.

The game play shown has the Huntress. She wasn't one of the original 5. The original 5 was Trapper, Billy, Wraith, Nurse, and Hag. That's if you exclude Michael. Hell Doctor Dropped before her. So if Huntress is there then they Lied.

Ones I can think of are dredge asking the question if the partner hunter harms a survivor, will nightfall be calculated as such.

I assume the killers are based on the base game killers that are already included & you don't need to purchase, where the huntress is part of that group. I would though love to see Doctor in there eventually, would be fun to land a shockwave on 8 players and hear them all scream

It's really cool that they're bringing us this mode...but I do hope they don't take very long to open it up to licensed characters. I don't care for the original DBD characters at all, I only got into the game for the licensed content (Resident Evil, Ghostface, etc..) . I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Yeah I'm not happy about it either, when people started talking about it I got excited picturing having to go up against duos like Ghostface and Michael. I'm a survivor main, but I main Claire Redfield, and I hate going against the original killers. They're either very boring or miserable, or annoying (I HATE Huntress's humming). Hopefully they open it up to the characters I care about (mainly Ghostface and the Resident Evil characters). Until then this mode seems a little meh to me, and I don't like the idea of there being no perks.
