I'm really worried about what Reki is planning with Eolyne. For one, if he's planning on somehow "reviving" Eugeo, it will be really difficult making it work. I don't know all about how Underworld and its system works, but from what I know, there are more ways to make it badly written than making it make sense. I really really want Eugeo to come back, though. If however Reki decides not to "revive" Eugeo and instead make Eolyne a different character, it will just make Kirito suffer even more. He's found a person who could basically be the reincarnation of his dead best friend, but its not really him. So whenever he sees Eolyne, he gets reminded of Eugeo, but he can't be with him again. And I think Kirito has suffered enough already. So whatever Reki is planning to do with Eolyne, it will be really difficult to make it satisfying for the fans.

@@Elly3981 Well, I find it interesting that when Kirito defeated Gabriel and said “sayonara Eugeo” like he will never appear again, but in the final episode, it was proved wrong and he reappeared to say “hi” to the girl that looks like Tiese and as well to Laura and then disappeared. So I’m assuming that he’s actually not completely gone, cuz he still appeared. So maybe his soul is still there, but Kirito doesn’t know that. Although that’s just me, I could be wrong (probably am I, but man I really want Eugeo back)

eugeo needs to return more than anyone, just imagine a scene were star king kirito (200 year old), kayaba akihiko, kirito alice and eugeo meet and interact eugeo should also have the original alice fragment with him wich can help further alices character. eugeo is also the very first A.L.I.C.E to be created in underworld to even further this there is a scene in the novels were it states that "none knows were the fading light of the fluctlight (soul) goes to when it gets destroyed" wich is a very good quistion maybe eugeo soul got transfered somewere else after hes death

Alice would not work for this because she is Alice Synthesis 30, not Alice Zuberg, they are not the same person. Integrity Knight Alice does not have the memories of her old self. She only knew Eugeo for a few minutes as she barely had any interactions with him. I feel like you're going to mention how Kirito got revived from his coma to counter me, so let me stop you while I'm ahead. Kirito's Fluctlight was only damaged, not fully destroyed. The memories of Asuna, Leafa, Sinon, and Eugeo were able to restore his sense of self. His Fluctlight wasn't recreated from scratch like what you're implying can happen to Eugeo. Face it. Eugeo is gone. Reki would either have to break the rules of his canon or jump through some serious loops to find a way to bring him back.

And the Eugeo we saw in War of Underworld is a combo of a memory frag he left behind/Kirito's memories of him, and that last will of his burned out by the end of the fight with Gabriel, right?

No, any remnants of Eugeo's soul are gone for good. As for the piety module that was used to make Eugeo Synthesis 32, that was destroyed during the battle with Quinella as it was used to control the Sword Golem.

@Oni Chan With Kirito and Asuna, Kayaba made sure their NerveGears wouldn't kill them because he wanted to talk to them before SAO deleted itself after it was cleared. That's not the case with Eugeo. There is no evidence that his Fluctlight was stored in other objects. It's heavily implied that the remnant of him in the Blue Rose Sword perished after the fight with Gabriel. Reki would have to jump through several hoops and possibly change some rules to bring Eugeo back.

Bro, that's because a human 's soul is limit to 100-110 years(in rare manner) , if kirito will be wake up with his 200 years of memory , his soul memory can't handle it thus Damage his memory core. Example- You can't install 20 GB of game in 10 GB hard drive , if u forced it , it will crash. So, that's why They have to delete Kirito's & Asuna's 200 years of memory in order for soul to maintain his 19 years old of memory along with 19 years old body.

#AskGamerturk Eugeo might still be alive! on computers if you happen to delete files off of your hard drive the files are still recoverable. they become unreadable but your pc can still overwrite that file. what I'm saying is if the light cube Eugeo inhabited happened to have no other fluctlight to overwrite that unreadable data, it's still possible to recover Eugeo. I hope I explained it enough here is the link if you want to look into it for Eugeo's sake. I want to point out that if you're paying really really close attention to that scene where they were on the computer talking about all the people that they needed to wake kitty toe up when they mentioned a soul coming from somewhere else in the overworld or underworld I mean that was eugeo but they specifically said it was coming from outside not inside kitty toe therefore specifically stating that eugeo Spirit or eugeo fluctlight was still alive enough to a point that it could come from wherever it was to aid kitty toe and from the diagram it seemed like it was coming from a pretty long way away I would assume it was probably coming from the axiom church it was probably just kind of in a void there until kitty toe or they reached out to it essentially that's all my speculation from that little scene that didn't add up with everything else like everything up to that point it was like Eugene is dead but then when they explained how his fluct light was connecting to kitty toe to wake him up it didn't add up
