Honestly, I don't want a person who plays games, I don't have the energy to deal with it If being with him is like a psycological war, I'd rather be on my own What matters to me the most is respect, and not taking me for granted, if being with me is comfortable for him but he doesn't even try to make me feel comfortable then he doesn't respect me. Respect first, understanding and compatibility second, friendship third, and then love comes along the way. Your videos have much wisdom, Thank you for that.

Break up Game… dear Nafisa, you just described what I was recently going through. He was love bombing me and at every little thing he didn’t like about our conversation, he started “breaking up”. I accepted his choice and didn’t text back, wished him the best and ended the whole situation with him. After getting over him, he texted me again and wanted to meet up and everything. And again: I said I don’t meet up with him at his house, he started gaslighting me and telling me I AM the one who is disrespectful and blocked me randomly 😂 Pleaseeeeee gooooo, pleaaaaaase. Leave me and my mind alone.

I think another one you can mention that a lot of Muslim guys do, is saying they are looking for marriage, when in reality, they do not have the financial stability and are still living in their parents house, they are no where near ready for marriage, but pretend to be; you will notice when you meet them, rarely are the conversations about anything substantial, future plans, how you envision life ect.

All your suggestions are quite helpful. Some men do wish to get wifey benefits before getting married. Some ladies go to their house to cook, clean, wash dishes and do laundry. Some men are really looking for cook or cleaner as they are used to having their mothers clean after them but now they are living separately then they realize they can’t do anything in their own.

That’s true. Also, many men of this generation are confused. They have one foot in Islam, the other in secular culture. And their conduct reveals that even while their mouths say something else. Therefore, the cautious Muslim woman shouldn’t do anything not prescribed in Islam, including giving “wifey benefits.” This adherence to Islamic standards will weed out the bad ones.
@misplacedsouthern12363 ай бұрын
I can’t understand why any woman thinks she has to cook & clean for someone she’s seeing. Why should you? You aren’t their wife and even if you were, do you believe you should wait on them? I didn’t when I was younger and I won’t start doing so now. If, they want or need a maid then they should hire one. Being helpful is one thing but to do someone’s laundry is ludicrous. What does it take today to wash your own clothes? Not much. The machine does the work. If they can’t handle something so simple they should be in an assisted living situation. I don’t heavy lifting g so for those things, they should be taken to a professional. Maybe the best thing is to suggest they hire a Maid to come in twice a month and handle most everything. If you have someone on a steady basis, it’s not expensive. I low because I did so when I worked very long hours. It’s so much better than buying myself a treat. ❤

Love your vids sis. Ghosting, games, lack of commitment, etc…most of these “red flags” also applies to women. Shocker!! My advice to all sisters, don’t overthink things. If you keep trying to look for faults, red flags, you will find them. Remember, Shaytan hates the idea of marriage. If people show you who they are, believe them. Lots of assumptions can be made from both sides. Ask clarifying questions. No one is perfect. Communication is key!!! Ask questions, and trust your gut and most of all trust in Allah.

Also she literally mentioned in the beginning of the video that both men and women are capable of these things lol. He responded with a chuckle and said indeed as he was looking for a good woman who was wife material. My Immediate response was that I hadn’t applied for any position nor was I looking for one. I also pointed out he wasn’t a kind of person I would consider as a candidate as husband material even if I was looking. What a jerk! I then requested to be taken home. There are ridiculous men who still believe every woman wants and needs a husband. I spent the majority of my life without a husband because they are too controlling, think they rule you and try to take co troll over your life! I always had a much better life without a permanent fixture parked in my kitchen or family room burping and farting and criticizing me, eating my food and spending my money! I have more, take nicer vacations and enjoy my life with my friends. Women don’t need a man as much as they need a woman. We know how to take care of ourselves since we’ve always done so. You don’t need them. Get your girlfriends & take trips that aren’t expensive. They are available & fun. Enjoy your life.

My husband played with me these games all the time. We have 6 children and I decided to get at least an honorable divorce as prescribed in the Quran as a right for both husband and wife. For the past 8 years, I have been struggling to get a divorce, and I have been humiliated by everyone who I try to get help from. My family, friends, the Muslim community, and even the Court system of the government of the USA are playing games with me. Just a few of my family members and some good friends are helping me, and I am hoping that I will get an honorable divorce before my death. I was so much oppressed psychologically that I left my kids with their father. Even though living for my kids was the only thing that kept me holding on to a toxic marriage. 💔

@@naby9075like most married women - they probably keep on praying and hoping the husband will change his character. Also birth control is a sensitive topic - most muslims love having kids and some men refuse to allow their wives to practice birth control. My uncle is physically abusive to my aunt - and he refused to let her have birth control - he deliberately made my aunt pregnant 6 times so she could not leave him easily. On top of which he would use her money and savings ( she has a steady job) because he did not hold a steady job. For any woman - once you are married and unlucky enough to be trapped with an abusive irresponsible man - leaving the marriage is tough. My aunt secretly arranged for birth control after #6 baby - but it was not easy. She is still married to him because getting a divorce is more difficult for a muslim woman.

@n0426 you are a woman, so how do you know about real man? Real man is a man who protects and provides for his family. The reason most women are not getting a real man is because most of you women are not wifey material. Before any woman asks this question, where are the real men ?,that woman needs to simply ask this question to herself, what does she bring in the marriage? , are you married material ? Are you a traditional woman or a modern woman ?. One of the problems we men get from most women is that you come in relationships with modern women behaviour but want your man to behave as a traditional man. Men are very simple. Traditional women get traditional men,modern women get modern man

I was taught men don’t play games they are more direct. They don’t react off emotions like women they act off logic. They mean exactly what they say

You didn't meet them yet. They play games and they are not clear

But how much time should pass after the first meeting before you get engaged?
@NafisasPearlz Жыл бұрын
That is your choice. It all depends on when you feel secure enough to make your decision but 1 year or more I think it’s too long of you want to do things the Islamic way.

Please be careful if he is a narcissist he can wait as long as you want because he knows he will get what he wants. Consider taking this time to see his real character and please don’t hesitate to disengage when you sense disrespect and narcissistic tendencies and don’t stay too long you might get stuck into a trauma bond. I swear he isn’t worth it!
