It's funny I absolutely hated Black and White 1 and stopped playing pokemon for about 5 years Then in 2016 or so I played Black 2 and it instantly became my favorite, so at least in my case it wasn't nostalgia 😅

REAL I also Love the Gen 5 starters all look cool and are all actual animals (But Emboar but he’s my fave pkmn :P) I love the music, content, story and characters aswell. Even the little gimmicks like hidden grottos, Join avenue & Different Gym themes alongside changing of Seasons oh and the Battle facilities (Like PWT) and also the lore ❤😊

Fun fact about challenge mode: the added levels don’t impact the enemy pokemons’ stats for some reason. It’s still arguably the hard mode because of the changed movesets, items and new Pokemon but the levels actually don’t matter. The one game that has difficulty settings and they don’t even work correctly. I have no clue if the same applies to easy mode.

apparently easy mode is also bugged, it’s arguably slightly harder than normal since enemies give less exp

Level is a factor in damage calculation, so the level does still matter.

Levels are a piece in the puzzle for calculating damage. So while you are right that all stats are the same in CM, most trainers do end up hitting harder then their Normal Mode counterpart. But this is is also somewhat mitigated depending on your Poke's level in comparison to where it would be in Normal Mode since you are typically slightly higher level. Also, because Gym leaders/E4 all get 30 IVs compared to what they'd normally have in Normal Mode, their raw stats are also buffed, but they still have the issue where they're calculated using what level they are in Normal Mode. It's a bit convoluted to explain all this on stage so it was mostly omitted. In Easy Mode, experience gain is the same as NM, and enemy stats are also as if they were in Normal Mode, but you get less money, which is where things get tougher from what I hear of people who messed with it.

A coworker warned us when this was close to starting. Ended up having it in the background all day. It was a fantastic run! I also wanted to get my coworkers' attention, so I tried getting a donation read that only they'd understand. Made a donation early on, got skipped, made the donation at 3:10:32 and none of them noticed... Still, glad to help a great cause!

Brodiw it's not that no one noticed, hella people donate and they don't have the time or it's not in proper presentation rythm during the run to just read donos, plus even when you donated they probably had a bunch of backlogged donos who already got "skipped" so you gotta not donate to get your message read, I get it can be disappointing but it's for the charity!

I always understood it to be a kind of in-joke to pronounce it "blah-hahsh". I usually just assume it's intentionally mispronounced o: But ye, blow-hi is fren

in my experience, its not an intentional joke, most english speakers just dont know how to pronounce swedish. so theyre just relying on english language intuitions. most people dont know the "proper" pronunciation

@@appointmenteer i think most people who are fans of blahaj have read the original pronunciation and probably could do it if they were asked to, but since everyone else mostly says bla-haj, that's pretty much become its anglicized pronounciation, to the point where wikipedia gives it as an accepted anglicization

And Excadrill is one of the best Pokemon to run the whole game through by itself. Rock and Ground cover almost all type combos without being resisted and having both Hone Claws early and Swords Dance later to boost it's massive attack make it a clear winner
