this was a highlight for me this SGDQ. i wasn't expecting mickey mania to be an entertaining speedrun, nor did i really come in with any preconceptions with the runner, but it ended up being really fun to watch, and yellowkillerbee gave fun and informative commentary. good stuff!

I love how she gave everyone a controller, I used to do that with my Nephew all the time! Great run with good commentary. I hope she runs more games in the future.

interestingly enough, one of the guys who worked on this game has started a youtube channel where he talks about and explain how they worked around a lot of the limitations of the time, from mickey mania, sonic 3d and toystory kzbin.info/door/fVFSjHQ57zyxajhhRc7i0g Very facinating stuff, and he covered about the warp they talked about in the first level which was they made it like that because of how strict and annoying the sega submission process was that any error would have the game sent back with a cyrptic message as to what happend you would have to find out then fix it then resubmit it. so to get around it they programmed it so every error they could think of would take you to a "hey mickey you found a time warp" which would take your foeward or backwards or in sonic 3d it would take you to the level select

This was one of my favorite games as a kid that NOONE talks about. I remember being a kid and doing the loading animation when I got a mickey watch for Christmas lol

One of my favorite games in my youth. So beautiful. I hope you run in again sometime in AGDQ. This was a hard game but not unforgiving in my opinion, I just loved it.

Correction: Telltales Games is not the maker of the LEGO games, it is Traveler's Tales. It's easy to mistake the two. Telltale Games makes all those American visual novels like The Walking Dead and the Wolf Among Us.

i hate this game frustrated me to death in my childhood i even got it working with a emulator when i was grown up so i could save en restart from that point at any time and still i couldnt finish the game its a pain in the ass lol still its kind of a cool game just too hard for kids
