I didn't even wait that long, I skimmed the search bar until I saw the timer start.

Pretty sure I ran through Super C deathless in my youth at least ONCE (I did Contra deathless a bunch of times). If you can get past Area 6, it's possible. Area 6 is a nightmare to get through deathless.

I think this is more of a Chinese rom hack, if I remember correctly. And actually, there's even FC game being released in 2006 because, I don't know, maybe some company think that there's still market here in China? (Yeah there's a knock off FC available here in China in the 1990s and is shaped like a keyboard and marketed as a "educational machine" even though it's said that most people just use it to play games anyway.)

Um, no. This is the official sequel made by Konami. According to wikipedia it was released in 1990. Probably just a typo as Contra was ran just before this and was released in 1988. Interesting to know about the knock-off famicom though.

Okay then. There were several rom hacks here in China and it's actually reasonable to have one being released in 1998, so I must remembered the wrong one. But to be honest, that "Super C" logo looks pretty knock-off... I mean, the "super" and "C" aren't in the same style, as if they copied the "C" from "Contra" and just slap a random "super" on it XD

As for the knock off famicom, I don't have much knowledge since I was born in 1996, aka it's kinda already obsolete when I was old enough to remember things. However, as far as I know, that company used to make knock-off famicom similar to the shape of a famicom, but maybe because of the console ban, or just that parents don't want to buy children a "game console" they modified the design to shape like a 101 key keyboard and call it an "educational machine". I think I've seen that thing in my home once, it's shaped like an IBM 101 key keyboard, but has composite AV and power cord coming out of the back and there's a FC cartridge slot on the front face of the keyboard. Looks kinda like an Atari ST but smaller, I guess. And yes, the machine does have software that supports the keyboard, but it's just typing practice I think, and other "educational software" was like, just a fancier way to do homework. To play any game on it you would still need to plug in a controller. Due to the poor library of "educational software", I think most people just use it to play games. (And probably switch to the typing software when parents come.)
