Bethesda games are the kind of games where literally a few years will pass and the entire route, glitches used, etc will change. Literally the only thing that stayed since the last time I watched this (like, a year ago???) was HORSE TILT and the helgen skip. Everything else is completely different! no plates or buckets at all!!!

Interesting run. Kinda wish the couch had even attempted to explain any of the glitches beyond just "here's what's happening, yeah". Commentary was just kinda passive with almost no genuine explanation. Only reason i wasn't wildly lost and confused was because I've watched a video on the discovery of dead loading and all of the previous speed runs

detailed explanations of each glitch and speedrun technique being used is why Tomatoanus videos of a 20 minute run end up being 45 minutes long. not realistic for a live setting like GDQ where they have a schedule they try to stick to

I think Skyrim is just too broken to be an enjoyable run to spectate. Personally, I really don't enjoy runs that depend on save manipulation - it takes the run "out of the game", so to speak, to an extent that you might as well just be hex editing the file.

I love how the game crashing is just such a universally-accepted result. Casual? Yeah, it'll happen at some point. Minmax run? Guaranteed. Speedrun? It's amazing things hold steady as much as they do.
