I've experimented with the idea of playing a New Game Normal, All verses Pureplat run. The biggest issue is that it's just a really long run to perform which is very restrictive on weapon selection, paired with abusing killgore from chapter 9 till the end of the game since it gives you a ridiculous amount of combo. Routing the run would probably end up being something like doing a fast chapter here and there on the first way through, then going back after getting killgore to complete some earlier levels that have a ton of alfheims in them. It's never out of the question! It's just a lot.

Today I learned that you can enter first person mode in Bayo 1. Love the Bayonetta series to death. Bayo 1 is my favorite game of all time. If I could only play one game for the rest of my life, it would have to be this one. The only flaw I personally see is the instant death qtes. This was an amazing run and I hope it eventually leads into potentially a Bayonetta block one year, where you get all four games shown off for all to see.

To unlock Jeanne you have to have to end every chapter of the game with a Platinum trophy to unlock her! It's for sure designed to be a secret and wow is she so fun to play.

funny how i jsut recently stumbled upon reclaimer and gala xD bayo be one of the more impressive speedruns out there xD it is super technical - route 666 skip iis just the most quality of live skip ever - though no plat run with that xD

Bayonetta speedruns epitomize what I feel is the "true" essence of running games fast. It's in-game MECHANIC EXPLOIT based, visually entertaining, skill based (in general case), and most importantly, game itself fun to watch for hours.. Compare this to modern "Elden Ring" zip runs, where it's ENGINE GLITCH launching through blackspace a lot, (although difficult,) boring and only 10 minutes.

whats different from playing Jeanne from Bayo¿

Witch time is harder to activate, and she has stronger wicked weaves and has unlimited dodging

Jeanne deals 50% more damage, takes 50% more damage. She has an infinite amount of dodges and her Witch time can only be activated by Moth Within. Additionally, Jeanne gets 2.0x multiplier for all points earned in Witch Time while Bayonetta only gets 1.5x multiplier. Basically, Jeanne is is a glass cannon with both higher risk and reward.
