Mine is Beat The Bridge. The second is Trivial Pursuit (Levar Burton).honrable mention of Switch, Split Second (John Michael Higgins), Master Minds, and Flip Side.2024 is the breakthrough year of game shows and television.

Favorite: The Floor (1 of the most successful FOX game shows) Least Favorite: Lucky 13 (I didn’t know what to say about it. Shaquille O’Neal should just stay with the NBA or commercials, and while Gina Rodriguez is beautiful to look at, she was only brought in for the looks.)

Gladiators AU was burning through episodes nearly right away. That first weekend they had "bonus episodes" added to the schedule IIRC. HORRRRRIBLE, says this US expat down here

My personal picks prior to this video? Best - Beat the Bridge for US, Gladiators and Jeopardy! for UK, and Deal or No Deal for Australia (honorable mentions include Trivial Pursuit with LeVar Burton for US, Deal or No Deal for UK, and Tipping Point for Australia) Blandest - The Floor (sorry, I just didn't find it that interesting despite Rob Lowe's presence, and while it's a guilty pleasure and I admire Raven-Symone, I can see why Scrabble '24 is pretty bland) Worst - Deal or No Deal Island for US, Gladiators for Australia (couldn't think of anything for UK) (dishonorable mention going to Beast Games) But now that I think about it, yeah, Wheel as a whole franchise deserved the title of best and I had forgotten that Blank Slate existed, and it's not hard to see why it's the blandest.

I have to agree about Wheel, Wheel of Fortune REALLY shined in 2024, especially with Pat's farewell episode and Ryan's debut. The global versions has been great too especially the UK version. Plus, I love the new set. It really blends well with the current theme music, it really brought things full circle and I enjoyed it. I honestly thought Beast Games or Deal or No Deal Island was going to take the Worst award, becasue DOND Island isn't good whatsoever (although Howie as the banker evened things out but not by much), and the lawsuits involving Amazon and MrBeast, and Beast Games itself being just there. But, I agree Aussie Gladiators is 5X worse. And, as for Blank Slate, I honestly forgot that show happened this year.

Thank you Cindy I firmly believe all games you should be Given a chance but I have to agree with you in terms of what the blandest was this year blank slate is nothing more than a rip off a match game that is beyond boring I can’t believe GSE make greenlit The show for me in today society there two factors that need to be kept in mind if you want to game show to succeed number one the gameplay has to be simple but challenging and number two if you don’t have suspenseful moments it ain’t gonna work a plus to you For that choice

Seacrest was definitely the best replacement for Pat. He has a lot of experience hosting shows, game shows, New Year's Eve, etc and he definitely does a good job on Wheel too.
